  1. HB-ISC "Alrodo" for the LES DC3

HB-ISC "Alrodo" for the LES DC3 , repaint by Leen "Flybike" de Jager
This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3.
This paint depicts (more or less) the DC3 HB-ISC aka "The Alrodo DC3"
The plane was owned by " Classic Air" in Switserland and had the Classic Air livery on the right side and was advertising "Alrodo-perfumes" on the left side.
As usual this livery includes an complete new color and upholstery for the cockpit, making this livery unique on the inside as well.
The old magnetic compass broke down, I installed a newer one (still second-hand naturally).
    How to install:
Just unzip Alrodo.zip in a temp folder and start reading the Alrodo Readme First.PDF carefully!!
    Enjoy,

  2. Braniff N25672 for the LES DC3

This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.
Leen "Flybike" de Jager, LES DC3/C47-livery nr 8 * ,
This paint depicts (more or less) the DC3, N25672 in the Braniff livery.
The original model had wing-registration and Braniff-text on the wings, due to the limitations of the mapping of this model, this could not be reproduced.
As Braniff was the first (or at least one of the first) airliners making commercial flights with the Douglas DC3, this was a paint wich had to be done ( I was told ;-).
    How to install:
Just unzip Braniff.zip to a temp folder and start reading the Readme.PDF carefully
    Enjoy,

  3. Mitsubishi MU-2 N316PR

This is a repaint by Leen "Flybike" de Jager, made for the superb X-Scenery Mitsubishi MU-2.
It represents the N316PR wich crashed tragically on the 25th of June 2006.
I added normal-files (with specular-layers) which contain custom-made effects (specular regulated gloss).
These custom normals are part of the livery allthough they can be used for other liveries as well. Please read the enclosed N316PR_Readme PDF carefully. Use a text editor e.g. Wordpad for editing the OBJ files.

  4. Colani-cargo livery for the MU-2 by X-Scenery

Colani-cargo livery by Leen "Flybike" de Jager, for the MU-2, model by X-Scenery
It depicts the Colani cargo-livery for this Mitsubishi MU2 twin-turbo-prop.
Due to the limitations of the model you`ll experience the "cargo-feeling" just on the outside.
I added normal-files (with specular-layers) wich contain custom-made effects (specular regulated gloss).
and special made LIT and NML- files, reveiling where the tail-logo-light comes from.
Please read the enclosed "Colani README FIRST.PDF" carefully.
    MIND:
This MU2 model was designed for XP9 and not yet 100% performing in XP10.
The model however can be flown in XP10 and this livery is compatible.
Screenshots shown were made in XP10.

  5. Iberia EC-ADR livery for LES DC3

This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.
    by Leen "Flybike" de Jager
This paint depicts (more or less) the DC3/C47, Iberia EC-ADR .
The original model had wing-registration, due to the limitations of the texture-mapping of this model, this could not be reproduced. ( grrrrrrrrr..........!!)
Outside-looks based on sparse photo-material, cockpit inside, just one of the many variants (artists impression if you like) and not representing the original one. This might have been the cockpit when this aicraft had been restored by ................ instead of ending on a scrap-yard.
She is not anymore, the memory however is immortal.
Another tribute to the bird I fell in love with.
    How to install:
Just unzip Iberia.zip to a temp. folder and start reading the Iberia Readme First PDF carefully.

  7. Shabby-old-panel for the LES DC3 / C47

    Shabby-old-panel for the LES DC3 / C47
    by Leen "Flybike" de Jager
Last weeks I got requests for making an old, a bit worn out, cockpit ( panel, yokes and consoles) for the Leading Edge Simulations DC3/C47.
Suitable for those who really want to fly the plane on one of its last trips or experiece some real risky smuggling-adventures in an airplane wich is.................................you know.
Or better said flying an old bird.................to its restoration.
This panel comes with dark-grey upholstery and floor.
If you want to use the old panel in a livery having another colored upholstery and floor just remove the file named InnerWall.png from this download ( leave InnerWall_NML.png were it is.)
    How to implement?
Just unzip the contents of this zip file into the objects-folder of the livery you want to get the old panel..
Make a backup/copy from this livery first , you might not dare to fly my panel.....it does not look so trustworthy.
    Have fun and enjoy

  8. 118527 Jiminy Cricket for the LES DC3

    118527 Jiminy Cricket
This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.
Paint made by Leen "Flybike" de Jager
This paint depicts (more or less, within the limitations of the model and its painter) the C47-D ,118527 "Jiminy Cricket "
    Historical Note:
"Jiminy Cricket" is depicted as it flew for the Sicily operation in improvised night camouflage.
It was one of the original 52 C-47s that deployed to Egypt with the 316thTCG in December 1942.
"Jiminy Cricket" was one of the first from the 316th Sq. ATC, to visit Project 19, delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt
    engines to the RAF.
It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily, where, the pilot, Sgt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK.
The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments except the stand by compass.
Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but the moon and the sticking standby compass.
Jiminy Cricket was repaired and served through May 1, 1947, then was "salvaged"
The skin-set includes cockpit- and (freighter-) cabin textures as well.
    Passenger-seats, luggage-racks ,airco etc.removed from the plane.( its a freighter now !!)
Livery dedicated panel and cockpit colors
    How to install:
Just unzip118527JiminyCricket.zip into a temp. folder , and start reading the readme file.

  9. Polish Border Guard livery for PZL M20 "Mewa" (Seneca)

Polish Border Guard livery for PZL M20 "Mewa" ( Piper Seneca manufactured in Poland by WSK PZL Mielec in a limited series from the 1980s. )
A repaint for the Seneca II model by Carenado. ( XP9 and XP10 )
This is a repaint representing a "Mewa" in a Polish Border Guard livery , as far as possible within the restrictions of the texturemapping wich comes with this Carenado plane , wich isn`t that painter friendly.
Nevertheless a gorgeous plane to fly and paint.
Unzip PZL M20 Mewa.zip into a temp. folder and read PZL M20 Mewa readme.pdf

by Leen "Flybike" de Jager for the Simoun Coudron C-635 available on XPFR.(Coudron is with an "o" there)
This livery is not exact depicting a (former) existing livery , due to a lack of photomaterial showing one.
Nevertheless I tried to come close to something "looking genuine".

  12. Buffalo C-GPNR DC3 / C47

Buffalo C-GPNR ("Buffalo-Joe" McBryan`s favorit plane) for the LES DC3/C47
Probably the most famous flying C47 these days, we even can say she is a movie-star.
Making a repaint wich already exists is always tricky , people start to compare and gues which one is the best.
Be assured I do not like to see it as a competition.
Even more tricky is making a repaint based on a default livery wich comes with the aircraft ,
Normally I do not make paints on request , let alone ,one based on an existing defeault livery..
For this "movie-star" I am happy to make an exception.
Taking the default LES DC3 in its default Buffalo livery to start with was quiet logic.
In the end not much of this original livery has left the way it was , shapes were changed , text reshaped and logos reversed.
Neverteless there are some lines and shapes wich I did not enterely by myself.
My main goal was to reproduce a C-GPNR wich comes as close to reality as I am abble to make it.
Big problem is the fact the plane changed its looks so many times ( as all pretty girls do ) , its hard to tell exactly how and what.
    Outside made close to reality.
Cockpit colors giving a C-GPNR experience.
    Cabin ,giving a Buffalo-Air feeling.
I hope you`ll enjoy this flying legend.

  14. Piper PA11 Marina D`Or

This is a livery made by Leen "Flybike" de Jager for the Piper Pa 11 Super Cub made by Alcalá Simulación for X-Plane 10 (freeware) .
This livery is not exactly depicting an existing livery , the real model just inspired me.
    How to install:
Unzip Marina DOr – EC-CXD.zip into a temp folder.
Placing the "liveries" folder into the main directory installs the EC-CXD livery.
This livery however will have the default wooden propellor.
Placing the complete contents of this upload in the main directory of the plane will give you the plane with its black metal propeller.
    ( backups provided)
This however will make all other liveries having the same propellor too.
No need to say making, a complete copy of your "Piper PA- 11 Cub Special" -install ,naming that copy "Piper PA- 11 Cub Special Black propellor" and
implementing my upload there , will give you the best of both.

  18. Paintkit with layered PSD files for the McPhatstudios ATR 72-500

Layered Paintkit for McPhatstudios ATR72-500 by Leen de Jager
By Leen "Flybike" de Jager.( based on edited and composed blanks made from the original McPhattextures )
This paintkit includes a set of "neutral-normal-files".
Make sure to place these normal-files in the objects -folder of your livery.
These normal-files have an edited normal and /or specular layer.
Their individual file-weight is much lower than the original ones , approx 7Mb instead of 16Mb
Using these normals prevents the default normal-files from making the default texture
visible on your paint when sunlight is striking the texture .
These customised normals (V2) replace the set I made and published earlier.
This paintkit is free ( for non-commercial use ONLY).

  19. "Neutral-Normals-Set" for the Aerosoft/McPhat ATR72-500

    "Neutral-Normals-Set" for the Aerosoft/McPhat ATR 72-500
It`s not as simple as it looks.
A real nice paintkit (set of "blanks") , has already been made available. I hope I`ll be able to make a layered version shortly.
Vital is the fact this paintkit is missing "neutral" normal files.
"Neutral " normal-files are normalfiles having a specular alpha without livery-dedicated textures.
When making a livery based on this paintkit and implementing this livery in the liveries folder, this livery will use the normal-files for the default "TRIP" livery., resulting in the fact the TRIP-textures will be visible on the aircraft when sunlight strikes the texturised surface.
Without a set of "neutral" normal-files its not possible to make a real high quality livery-paint for this plane without the disturbing effect of the speculars in the normals.
The picture below shows the excellent livery vakigary made for us , as you can see the default "Trip" disturbs its beauty.

I addition to the paintkit I made a customised set of normalfiles.
Better said I made no changes to the normal-effect, I edited the specular layer wich is in them.
Thanks to Martin Wright who provided me with the tools to handle these rather complicated files.( Convimx and DXTbmp )
Original normal structure and original specular-layers, with all livery-dedicated details removed.
Just add this set to each repaint you make.
DO NOT add this set to existing McPhat -liveries.( They all have their own normals wich should be kept in place and not be overwritten)
Adding these files to liveries wich have no normals in their objects folder corrects the unwanted appearance of the default normals.
These files are free to use for all repainters,
    Do not forget:

Alternative N601WD livery for Zenair CH-650
    Hi friends,
I like to present to you this repaint for the freeware Zenair CH-650 by HydroZ
    .
It represents the american N601WD livery.
The N601WD?? You might ask, is`nt that the same livery as wich comes with the base-package for this aircraft?
    YES indeed,it is.
Based on the blanks provided by Antonio and using his normals I made a complete remake of this livery.
    Having a different texture-layout,color and a "lady-pilot"
You can find the original plane here:

    Ju-52 Collection : Repaint "Milka" (LDJ_Milka_HB-HOP)
    Ju-52 Collection : Repaint "Milka" (LDJ_Milka_HB-HOP)
    Dear friends,
Herewith a well-known , or maybe better said a "sweet" livery.
This repaint represents the HB-HOP wich was flown by Ju-Air in Switserland.
They flew liveries for watches, suitcases, beers, sweets and limonade.
Its does not matter how to dress the aircraft as long as it generates funds to fly it , was the philosofy.
Sometimes this results in really weird ( some-people say awfull ) exteriors.
So, like it or dislike it, its a collectors-item anyways.
To fly this livery you must have the Ju-52 Collection, French Marine & HB-HOY installed and you must install this Milka-livery in its liveries-folder.

  25. The LV-FOB-livery for the Alcalá Simulación Cessna 170

    Cessna 170 LV-FOB-livery , for C170B by Alcalá Simulación
This great little ( freeware in payware-quality) plane is available for download at
    http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=22871
This plane is available for X-Plane 9 and 10.
Make sure to use the latest Version 1.03 !!!
This paint ( and a bit more) is a joint-venture by
Antonio "AFNavarro" and Leen "Flybike" de Jager
This paint made by Leen is based on the basic-paint-kit AFNavarro made for this aircraft.
The custom-normals for this model ( ondulated-skin effect) have been made by the two of us, its hard to tell who placed which pixel, where.
More important is, we are both very happy with the result.
Some OBJ-files were edited by Leen to add some gloss -effects.
For those who like a bit "older" engine-sounds, Leen created some new sound files.

Most important of all a big THANK YOU to
    Alcalá Simulación
thanks AdriánDo you want to fly this livery?
Unzip this download LV-FOB-download.zip to a temp folder and read instructions carefully
    Enjoy
    Antonio
    Leen
