  1. Did something change where we can no longer access US/Navigraph charts? The only option is autorouter which does not provided charts for the US.

  3. I appreciate the responses but I was also referring to the equipment suffix that the FAA uses for flightplans here in the US as well. For example: B738/L or B753/Z. I'm assuming that filing /L means you have GNSS, and filing /Z is for planes like the Boeing 757 that have older FMC's with limited RNAV capability? On the overhead I see the IRS receivers but not the GPS L, R receivers which are visible on the 737NG.
  4. I'm confused as to what the correct equipment suffix I should file for the 737-300. To my knowledge the FMC that comes with this plane is the original and therefore does not have GNSS/GPS capabilities, so that would be B733/Z correct? I've seen pictures of 737-300 cockpits with one old (green font) and also a newer fms like the NG (white font). Does that give the aircraft satellite capabilities making the aircraft more compliant with newer standards?

    Dimmer Switch

    How do I use the dimmer switch to dim the displays? I tried clicking on Menu but the option is not there.
  7. I also have active sky xp. The weather is loaded in the sim but not displaying on the map for some reason. Do you need to have the weather radar turned on for the nexrad data to display or is that a separate source?
  8. Not sure what the source of the Nexrad Radar is but my current location shows tons of precipitation around the state but the nextrad data shows no weather? is this normal?
  9. Anyway to fix this? this is FL300 at midnight and it appears I'm stuck between cloud layers.
  10. I wonder if ice on the runway is simulated? I landed in Telluride yesterday when this happened and that is one of the more difficult airports to get in and out of.
  11. I have noticed the TBM is very hard to control and steer when thrust reverse is used after landing. Anyway to better control the plane in these situations?
  12. I went over a bump during taxi and all of the sudden my engine died and all my displays were broken in the maintenance manager. Is this a random failure or perhaps a conflict with airport scenery?
  13. Visible icing on the wings is the cue to turn the de-icing boots on, but what about the prop? is icing as common on a fast moving propeller?

  15. Is there an option for winter with no snow? Where the trees have lost their leaves but there is no snow on the ground? As of right now I just leave it at default for regions without snow.

  17. I think the 737-300 is pretty stable now, but are there any plans for the next update out yet? Wondering about opening doors, deployable oxygen masks, FMC features, and a few other things of that nature.
  18. What source does terramax use for season selection. It is showing "deep winter" in Seattle right now and its currently 45F. Should I just leave the setting on autumn instead to prevent this?

  20. The actual throttle lever moves to max. I can bring it back down by holding "F1", but as soon as I let go it goes back to max. I'm gonna try a reinstall and see if I can fix it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
  21. as soon as I move the throttle into high idle, the throttle advances to max on its own and I can't bring it back to idle. I haven't changed any key assignments and this is a new issue. Any ideas?
  22. Is the oxygen switch supposed to be on the entire flight or only activated in the event of loss of cabin pressure?
  23. Not sure if this is related to the TBM9, but look at the attached screenshot. I'm not sure what this is. I am getting a new graphics card on Friday but I'm wondering if my old one is failing?
  24. Does the TBM9 have ice detectors built in? if not how do I know when I need anti ice to be on. I'd rather not wait until I am about to stall out of the sky to detect it
  25. is the normal climb speed all the way to the top of climb 124kts? or is that just the initial speed? It seems slow but you do climb pretty fast to FL310 at this rate.
