Ok, so i checked the nav data, and the fixes are there. But honestly, it cannot be that i have to contact the support now every time i want to activate the CRJ. I wanted to install the v1.1 on a clean new install, but it doesn't accept my password....AGAIN... >

I guess he wants the popups to be solid. ??? As they are now, you can click through them and hit something in the "background" (i hate it every time it happens - very annoying with the FMC, always have to move it over the windshield).

@Japo I willl have a look into the files, when i'm back home. But i will bet, that those fixes are there. You said you made it with the "free version", i got the v1 version out of the box on another X-Plane install (clean, no addons, nothing changed, only demo area, 0411 airac) and it stopped working there too. That's what i find strange. Something broke it. Haven't changed anything to X-Plane. There was an Win7 update last week, and i installed three other games, but why should the CRJ be broken by other apps, that don't even run, while it runs. I loaded other planes i purchased lately and freeware, all are working fine, except the CRJ.

I just remembered that i have a clean install of XP with the CRJ v.1 on the pc. I loaded it, and... guess what, it's broken there too. I made this install, when i wanted to make sure, that i had no conflicts with other plugins or preferences. Not sure what the issue was. However, not even working on a new download. @Perry: Nav data is up to date. Cycle 0511 Edit: attached the log from the clean XP Log.txt

Hiho. I got a FMC Bug, that prevents me from filing any flightplans via FLP page. This is not new to v1.1 it also happened with 1.0 when i wanted to fly on friday. When i enter the first waypoint, the FMC will not show me a second line, where i would input the next waypoint normally. In addition, i'm not even able to delete the entered waypoint. Getting "No entry allowed" message. Old flightplans are not loaded either. He says "route loaded" but only first waypoint shown. I can change SID/STAR as i wish, and waypoints of loaded flightplans are shown on LEGS page, i can delete those there and add a new one. So i can file a flightplan through the LEGS page, but this is very uncomfortable, because i have to enter every single fix by hand. And since i cannot use my keyboard to type, it's just a pain in the ass. I did not change anything to X-Plane. I haven't flown any other plane since i bought it, haven't installed another one since then, i think - but i'm not sure - haven't even loaded another one, since i bought the CRJ. I always made my next flight from the airport i landed previous with the CRJ. So basically nothing has changes on the X-Plane front. Yet, the CRJ will not let me make flightplans any more. What has changed, is that i installed two games, and one installed another c++ redistributable. But not sure which version. So i uninstalled/installed the old CRJ v1.0, when it was still up to date, twice new to ensure that c++ is fixed. But sadly nothing changed. My hope was that 1.1 would fix this, but it hasn't. I even loaded the plane somewhere with only water around me, to avoid scenery conflicts (but hell, why should those make problems now anyways when they worked perfect since day 0?). This had no effect. I have no clue what to do, in order to solve this. Log.txt

Too bad its on sunday.... :'( Great event at EDDF today/night, but somehow, the CRJ will not let me file a flp any more, and i have changed nothing to X-Plane. Even reinstalled the CRJ no change, and loaded flightplans have only the first waypoint too but cannot add or delete another. -
You cannot change the frequency on the FMC radio page when you have the source selected on the panel of the central pedestal. Example: You have Nav1 Pre selected on the pedestal. If you paste the typed frequency into Nav1 or Nav1 pre it will be reset to the previous one. Same applies for Com1/Com2.

You can place every cpu onto your mainboard, as long as it's the same socket. So it should be no problem. However, X-Plane will not benefit that much. X-Plane 10 will/meight, but not v9.

I have this scenery since maybe 1,5 or 2 years. Don't know. On my old system the ultra version (with static aircraft) has an extreme impact on fps, to the degree, that i needed to reduce visibility range or look down in the cockpit. Now with the new, it is still very demanding, getting only 19 (i guess less) fps on ground, while approach is somehow ok.

Tested with other airports, but those had the right routes. So either it's a bug in the FMC, that is related to LSZH, or the nav data is wrong? Can't get a working route to even one of the runways. He always inserts the "transition" behind the ILS, instead of overwriting it. :'( -

The main problem here is, that he inserts the approach after the missed approach. As long as you use a transition, everything is fine. He will insert the transition in front of the approach. I will try a standard ILS approach today at EDDN or EDDM. Let's see if he can do them right, although it's not very common that you get them. -

I wrote the route of the ILS14 appraoch already in my initial post. Here is the link to the charts: http://www.vacc.ch/file/79 THe route, started from NEGRA, should look like this: (STAR beginn) NEGRA -> MATIV -> AMIKI (STAR end) -> (ILS14 begin) ZUE -> ZH701 -> TRA -> CF14 -> OSNEM -> RW14 But i get this completly wierd route, when i use NEGRA1A STAR with ILS14 and AMIKI. (STAR beginn) NEGRA -> AMIKI (STAR end) -> CF14 -> OSNEM -> RW14 -> ZUE -> AMIKI -> ZUE -> ZH701 -> TRA -> AMIKI Should have posted the screen of the funny looking route. The go arounds are inserted, kind of, always. Only the FIX where they end, and a straight line back to the airport are included. But they are never accurate. The "ZUE -> AMIKI" after RW14 is the missed appraoch route. But flying direct to ZUE would be wrong. You would have to fly on rwy heading until 5.1 DME KLO, make a left turn to heading 360° to intercept the radial 054° on ZUE VOR. -

Hiho, me yet again. ;D I am currently trying to get the arrival for LSZH into the FMC, but i just can't get it right. The route is KPT1S KPT L856 NEGRA NEGRA1Z. As always i set the wanted STAR first on the ARR screen. Now i get the chance to select the desired approach. I chose ILS14. This leads to a route from AMIKI to CF14, OSEM, RW14. However this is not the right/puplished route for ILS14 approach. So i chose to use AMIKI transition as well, which inserts then the right route to ILS14 (ZUE VOR, ZH701, TRA VOR), expect the last 2 point including the FAF. The whole end looks like this right now: [...] ETOXU NEGRA AMIKI CF14 (ILS14) OSNEM RW14 ZUE (this would be the missed approach i guess, but it's wrong anyways) AMIKI (why go back again?) ZUE (now we get the right ILS14 route inserted) ZH701 TRA AMIKI (yet again back to AMIKI?!?) LSZH Could someone please check this (not necessary Japo or Phillip) if you get the same result? Using the latest cycle 1105.

And to make sure its not a problem with this specific route, i made another test. EDDL to EDDN, 23L KUMIK departure. After DL241 on my way to ELBAL (20NM to go) i made TESGA my direct. Same thing happened as before. Plane made an right turn to intercept the new plotted route, instead to just go straight for it.

I made some screens. A few seconds after takeoff (EDDM 26L). FMS as nav source, ap enganged while on way to DM049. A/P turns direct DM050. After a while i copy EGG and past it onto MUN. With this new route as a result. The plane then makes immediately a left turn, to cut the route plotted on the display. And will then turn right, to intercept the shown route. This is 100% reproducible.

Ok, your tip works great, much faster. BUT, he will not fly a direct line from his current position to the new one. As long as the DCT is somewhat near the current direction, everything will be fine. When i was on my way to MUN VOR i made EGG VOR my direct (i used the flightplan in the first post, once more). Copied via LK and inserted it right on MUN VOR. The result: a straight line from DM050 to EGG. The plane immediately turned left to intercept the displayed line. Does the real one fly like this too? If so, what's the purpose of being able to use directs, if the plane starts heading somewhere else instead direct to the waypoint?

I don't want a 737 inside. I just haven't flown many other planes. I only know the x737 and standard X-Plane FMC and those work like i described. So those are the only ones i can compare with, since i have no clue what a CRJ looks and feels like. Well, i don't even know this about a 738/752/742. For the missing animation: thought you might have forgotten about it, like tkyler did it with the MU. ;D If it's not animated/if there is nothing to animate then ok. Looks like the difference is barely to see anyways. Not a big deal, just wanted to point it out. I don't like making a thread per question/possible bug/user error. Thus i though using numbers would make it easy enough to reply. Next time, i'll post 9 topics. ;D PS: Just noticed, the "cool" smily in the first post should be an eight. And the one after a nine. Hi, it's me, again... : (to bad the rolleyes smily doesn't work :-\ ) There are a few things i am not sure about if it's me, doing something wrong or if it's a bug. 1) In the pilot book, you have included a reduced t/o-thrust table. Situation: I am standing at EDDM. QNH 1021, 8°, 1487 above see level. On page 17 it would mean that the reduced thrust would be then the value combined of 2000ft (must be rounded up until 4k) and 10° (always needs to be rounded up). The table says then: 90.2 N1. But the PERF page says it's only 85.0 N1. And i guess this should be normal takeoff thrust. So how can the normal calculated thrust be lower, than the reduced thrust? (While i was testing, the limit wasn't working at all. first time. some more investigation needs to be done by me here. however, just to notice this: 82 TGT resulted in 87.9 overshooting the limit on the display, while 90.5 resulted in 94.5 N1) 2) The limits for TO/CLB/CRZ are always 85.0 as long as the temperature is below 15°. With 15° is says 90.1. With 16° back to 85.0 until 19°. 90.1 @ 20°. 21-24 85.0 and 25° = 90.1 again. Not tested further, but i'm sure it's always the same from there on. 3) Distance on the PFD is calculated wrong. I did the following route: EDDM EGG5S DM449 DM439 GUDEG MNW EDDM (ILS26R). If i add all distances of the LEGS page, i get a total length of 93NM. The distances are as followed (from holdingpoint 26L B14): The distance from the PFD says 119NM. If i add the length of the missed approach procedure (to MIQ NDB back to EDDM) i get a total distance of 123NM. As you can see in the screenshot, even the second wayoint (MIN VOR) is already wrong. 35NM PFD vs 13NM LEGS page. 4) If you are on a longer flight and you get a DCT from a controller, you have to delete the waypoints. This can use some time, if you have to delete multiple fixes. Is there a chance, that you will include the DCT function in the next patch? 5) And this leads me to another thing i noticed. When you delete multiple waypoints to get the direct done, the PFD doesn't calculate the new distance. Even if you save 60NM thanks to a shortcut, is stays the same NM and time to reach. The difference gets smaller the closer you come to the airport. If you then change the arrival, it's calculated right again. Just try it. Happens to me all the time. 6) Last time i forgot to set the nav input to fms. This caused the plane to use only "roll" instead of "fms" after takeoff. After setting it to FMS the plane wasn't turning. I had to set the HDG so i would fly towards a waypoint on the route. While HDG was active, NAV was armed (clicked and lights active). When i was near the waypoint FMS started to follow the route again. Is it possible to get the plane on route immediately without the need to use the HDG? Did i miss something in the manuals or is this how it works? Since the DCT buttons has no function, using it was not an option (like in the x738 for example). 7) The integral lights are always on, and this is an restriction from X-Plane, as Japo once wrote, except the fact, that dome and overhead lights are off after cold&dark after switching on the battery. However, the clock displays are attached to the integral lights switch. So i cannot turn them down (because not needed) without loosing the watch. Working as intended, or maybe a bug? I would like to be able to adjust the watch light either seperate or have it on max all the time. 8 ) When you have the FMS or anything else as a popup, you can still click buttons that are hidden behind. This is sometimes a bit annoying since it can happen, that you reset your altimeter to default, or click other knobs like nav source etc. Is it possible to make it a "solid" surface, so you cannot access the things below? I don't have a problem with the numbers, but more with the ILS markers. I can barely see those magenta diamonds. While the G/S is somehow guessable the LOC is absolutely not findable. I'm not a fan of those pop-ups. they kill the whole emersion from using this nice 3D pit and TrackIR.
