  2. What I don't get is, if the Mayans were so fappin good at predicting the end of the world, how come they didn't predict the end of their own civilisation???
  3. Fantastic. This is the only thing I want for 2013/2014.

  5. So the title should've been "Mountain flying, just love it when looks so real...... especially when you lot can't have it."
  6. Yes, that's worked, Javier.
  7. It's because it contains content from EMI. It's gotta be a world first, considering the UK is the home of liberalism. Javier, it doesn't matter whether you upload it to Vimeo or anyone else, it's due to the music you have in the video that's causing the problem.
  8. The reason I voted no was because I would rather someone else made the Huey. From a painter's point of view, Conex's paintkits are a nightmare to work with, because he includes shadows and some detailing as part of the paint layer, rather than separate ones. I have seen this on both his B206 and R22, and at the very least it means having to re-create both the paint layer from scratch and eliminate the shadows, and recreate them all on separate layers. It's a lot of work to do before you can even start creating a livery. I would love to have done B206 and R22 liveries, but tbh I don't have the time to carry out corrective work first.
  9. What the holy heck is THAT?

  13. Ground them?
  14. Well done, and thank you. Now I can look up the rest of the stuff they've done.
  15. Ramzzess and Phillip's 777 Worldliner video has a cool track. Anyone happen to know anything about it, who it is and the title, please?
  16. I feel a bit silly posting this, but here goes. I used to fly to a couple of road bridges in Canada which were handy for screenshots and landings, but after a month's break from xp they seem to have disappeared. I'm assuming they were OpenScenery generated, but I've updated my OSX and they still don't reappear. I had thought they were just south of Canmore/south of CBM7 Banff, but now I'm lost. I knew they were in that vicinity, as that's where I mostly fly. It's driving me potty as I can't re-find them and OSX can't possibly have stopped displaying. Roads crossing rivers are at the same level as the river (not raised, as in these pics) and that doesn't change if I alter runways follow terrain etc. I've checked just about everywhere in the Rockies using the Local Map, using the most obvious of searches - looking for a road travelling in a river - but so far nothing looks right. I ddn't have any specific Canada scenery other than Ed (CDN791M)'s Albert scenery, which hasn't changed. Just hoping someone might recognise these and point me in the right direction. The first was a large - road bridge which was handy to land on. The second was a long, curving road which ran the length of a river/lake/thingy below. Anyone happen to recognise any of these please?
  17. But sort those darn rivets out first.....
  18. Dunno, but the rivets on it are HUGE. They look like they belong on the Titanic I think it's this one: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=15169
  19. D-HECA in the Alps.
  20. Superb work. Well done.
  21. Never mind weird. Creepy. Still, if creepiness floats your boat....
  22. Well, all I can say is that they may have the largest customer base, but they also have the highest proportion of arseholes too.
  23. Well, I can't say I make all of my customers happy, because I no longer work and don't have to keep customers happy. However, in my working life the ethos has always been "the customer is always right" and that has stayed the same right across all the companies I have worked for or with. You kept the customer happy 100% of the time or you found another job, and that applied to all the staff working there. Yiou didn't push awkward customers away, and you certainly didn't insult customers. Not if you wanted a job. Re the org, nothing is skewed, thank you. I merely go by the fact that the number of people they are haemorrhaging is too many for a "successful" business enterprise. Be that 5% or 55%, sooner or later they will end up with more evacuees than retained customers. Whether that day is tomorrow or in five years time is irrelevant. It's coming. Even just going on the number of active members here, I think the most was 270 in September 11, if I recall. Checking the org now, they've had 49 visitors. Wow. Huge customer base. But that's all I'm going to say. I'm out.
