Good morning Cameron. Thanks for the reply. The white box i believe is the gizmo. You'll see code and some sort of wording about authorizing the AC. If this box does not disappear on it's own, then there is a greater chance something will be off. But when the box does disappear on it's own, then things are normally ok. These little problems are sporadic. The hydro, like the other post says, will stay on. Even on auto, it gets stuck. The nav radio's. Same thing. Sometimes the freq won't be displayed on the glareshield. When this happens nav 1 will not work. But you don't always notice it's not working until after you've done all the start up checks. Sl These issues are random. So even if the gizmo box stays on screen, sometimes everything is okay. But in more than half of the instances there will be an issue somewhere. So my fix is to just load twice. Never had a problem that way. However i can test for you. So i can add gpu power first. Then if the hydro stays on what files would you like me to send you?. Dave

Something i do with this AC is to load it twice each time before i fly. Yes it's time consuming but the first load authorized the plane. This sometimes breaks systems. Like sometimes the hydro stays on. Or the nav radios won't work properly. the way i fix all these little problems is to just load then quit XP and load again from scratch. The second load never brings up the white box and all systems always work properly then. So it's just my routine with this AC. An extra 3 minutes. But it's worth it lol. Dave

I use this plugin ( iGoConnect ). You need an ipad though. At the ios store it costs a few dollars. But it's a one time fee. The App is awesone!. It takes care of all the W&B for you and even will calculate the CG and.. the CG will change as you fly due to Fuel burn. Really cool ad on. Confirm with a dev first. But i believe you can simply use plane maker to add the icao if not there already. Dave

A lot of add ons have the option to turn on or off reflections. Whether it be instrument or windshield reflections. I personally fly without reflections on when that option is available . But that is an individual based option. So maybe you could make it an option in the next update?. At least i now know it's the red binder causing the reflection. Lol it was not obvious for me. I would rather just turn them off and have instrument reflections on. Dave

Yes except for the aforementioned items, everything is working well. So i know the license is valid. I really think it has to do with the glass reflective properties. i can still see a constant red tint only in one area, on the left side window at about eye level. I guess this is an attempt to illustrate a reflection of a system light or cockpit interior light. But it's very in your face. It's never been braught up. But i think what ever you guys did to allow this red reflection on the left side window at like your 10 oclock is the same thing which causes the wiper issue. I hope you get rid of the red tint area. I thought The license updates automatically every few days or so. Yesterday i flew her and i saw the pop up console screen displayed upon loading the plane. So it looks like it validates. I haven't tried the wipers in a while. Is there a manual method to enter in my email and pw for this plane?. I'll give that a try. Dave

The windshield glass smear affects were introduced at the last update. The same update which altered the bank angle. It's a guess but i would guess maybe a pbr glass was added for a reflection appearance or something. i have no idea. I don't use that add on you guys are talking about. I just don't use the wipers anymore. I'm guessing the next update will have a fix for the glass.

Can you have your wife provide an ETA on the bank limit fix? Lol. j/k.. i know it's being worked on. It's just frustrating with a workload while your being vectored for an approach and due to the bad turn rate you blow through the localizer every time. Then you have to go manual and turn back. I know it's on your todo list. I wish there was something we could do on our end to fix it. Dave.

Same thing on my end. Why did you guys offer 40% off on this version of the AC, when your going to release a Payware version 2.0 soonish? Won't that upset someone who just purchases the plane to find out they will need to again purchase the same plane to have the updated graphic design?... I don't know. That's not my problem. Just something I thought about. Maybe a discount for those who purchase now with the 40% off coupon, to get the version 2.0 at the price we will have to pay. That might take the sting out of it.. I'm looking forward to 2.0 by the way. Will be getting it right away. Do you have an eta on that release? Thanks. Dave.

I agree as well. I'd pay for a FMC & glass cockpit for sure. Granted i'll still pay for the 2.0 version. Just because your customer support is great. But I'd like to pay more for a more modern flight deck. Dave.

Same thing use to happen to me. Maybe this will help. Make sure on Final, that around 100 AGL you reduce throttle to idle. Then after you have landed you can slowly place the throttle into reserve. Then once your slow enough, let it idle again, before moving forward. The short of it is, Let the engine stabilize first before reverse or moving forward. I use to slam it into reverse from a high idle, then right back to forward and that would kill the engine every time. Dave.

ROFL. That is the best answer I think I have ever heard when it comes to addons. lol. I love it!. Never Occurred The Fed had anything to do with the weather stations. But yes NOAA would be Fed. Thank you for looking into it. I hope either A. You find a way to get the current weather, or B, Government shut down stops and gives people back their jobs. : ) Have a good weekend. Dave.

Here is a screenshot I just took today. The Altimeter is still Off as well as the temperature and Cloud bases. Hopefully there is something easy to fix this. Dave

Anyone notice that the METAR for the last couple days has been off? Eg. KRNO was real Altimeter, 30.03 but FSGRW had 30.12. The Temp and cloud cover is a little off too from the actual METAR. It's been that far off for the past couple days. Usually it's spot on. I wonder if it's possible their servers are running behind? Anyone know how to ask the Dev? Dave.

I know this has been brought up before by others and you have advised it will be corrected with the next patch. But due to not knowing when the next update will be released.... My question is is there any possible way to get a hotfix for this. It is truly a hassle when you have a healthy workload and your being vectored to intercept the localizer but overshoot it becsuse it doesn't even make a standard turn bank. So you bassically have to hand fly and more times than not I'll not be able to hold the proper altitude while trying to set up for a instrument approach lol. It's doable. But would be very nice to just have that one update now than later. I'm sure others would agree. Maybe for the New Year? : ) Figured i'd ask. Thanks, Dave.

Why would you need to restart XP?. Are the condition levers and throttle all the the proper position for start up? If not it won't start. There is a cheater window which shows just where these levers should be. Click on the icon on the right side of screen to bring up the throttle quadrant. it helps. also you tube has many videos on proper way to start the Saab.
