  1. Thanks to Jan and Tom, I will try which works better for me. More in a few days. YouTube publishing: 53 year old man trying skateboard tricks from his teenage days? -Michael
  2. Hi Jan, at first many thanks to you and the IXEG-Team for caring so much about details. In the mean time I did some additional testflights with all plugins (except gizmo) disabled, aircraft reloaded and gizmo rebooted. But no differences. I can even reproduce it from the "right seat" with right F/D. My hottest guess for now is, that the "master"-state at the time of A/P engagement, will somehow be restored, regardless of the actual F/D (on/off) state. Video: Yes I will try that, but it may take a couple of days, because I'am running a bit out of time this week and I did that never before. If you were so kind to provide me with some tips, I'll surely be able to shortcut my learning curve: - What Video-Grabber is the best (or your) choice? - Do you have a handy parameter set (Compression, Codec...)? - Which output-format works well? Beste Grüße -Michael
  3. Yes, I' am not using the Disengage Bar. I swear ;-) I' am able to reproduce it any time, any where. -Michael
  4. My results: Initial Situation, automated ILS Segment (PF = left). Situation after 1. Sequence: left F/D = off & Master Situation after 2. Sequence: left F/D = off, right, F/D = on & Master (but not flying) & only pitch bar is visible Thanks in advance -Michael
  5. Thanks poodster, that gave me the/one missing link. From looking onto drawing schematics, I,ve always end up in a black box named "spoiler mixer". -Michael
  6. OK...let me clarify that. I talk about the following (abnormal) landing setup: autobakes = 0, speedbrake = down detent, flaps = 30 On touchdown the spoilers staying in (as I expect). After touchdown (rollout), applying reverse thrust, all spoilers will come up (automation surprise). In 2014 I had the chance to fly a couple of approaches (incl. Touch and Goes) in a 737NG full-flight sim at LH/Berlin, but I can't remember such an behavior? -Michael
  7. ...why do the plane have to "think" to find out what the pilot wants, when it can "look" at the autobrake switch?
  8. Not for Touch and Go! No reversers, no brakes, no alcohol!
  9. Hi frumpy, last time I really want the spoilers to stay in was for practicing some Touch and Go's. This time I only forgot to arm spoilers and set the autobrakes, probably because I've got drunk by LH's famous "Bordeaux" ;-) You cannot overestimate the importance of checklists especially for drunken pilots! -Michael
  10. I think that is true, but not right ;-) We should call it: MSS (Mad Spoiler Syndrom) -Michael
  11. I thought that this was all long (some hotfixes ago) gone: http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/9716-uncommanded-spoilers-deployment-at-touchdown/ But on last flight all spoilers poping out on touchdown again, without arming them before. They will come out each time I pull the reversers. ??? -Michael
  12. Moin Jan, can you please try this too: Flying single channel ILS, Autopilot A = CMD, APP Mode, both Flight-Directors = ON (engaged before with left F/D = Master). 1. Sequence: Switching F/D left off before disengaging A/P. 2. Sequence: Disengaging A/P before switching left F/D off. Watching the Master-Lights. -Michael
  13. Hallo Jan, you can observe this in your videos (autopilot operations - part 3) too. -Michael
  14. Practicing some takeoffs and landings, I've seen some unexpected behaviour of F/D and FCC Masterlights: After takeoff with both F/D's ON (left is Master) and A/T armed (takeoff mode), when engaging A/P left in CMD mode the Masterlight disapears. Now both F/D Switches are ON, no one seems to be Master, A/P left is in CMD and F/D bars are full functional. On last approach segment, I switch left F/D off to remove the F/D bars. Subsequently I disconnect the A/P to continue fully manual, the left FCC becomes master! Now the left F/D switch position is OFF, right F/D switch is ON and left Masterlight indicates ON? -Michael
  15. Yes, it looks like the flight-spoilers are coupled to the original x-plane dataref's and ground-spoilers are bound to the reversers. But I've learned from another project, that "what you see" in x-plane is not necessarily "what you get" in terms of flight dynamics. -Michael
  16. Thanks Jan, that's the way I understand the Boeing-Systems and your remarks concerning Spoilers/Replay prior to release of V1.0. But what I believe to see now (V1.0.2), looks like no ground spoilers without reversers? -Michael
  17. On touchdown only the Flight-Spoilers came out. I get the Ground-Spoilers (popping out) only when I apply revers thrust. Can't judge whether it's, - a discrepancy between flight-dynamics and the visual model ( probably the issue mentioned on the "Not in V1.0" List? ) - a discrepancy between replay mode and realtime - or intended by Mr. Boeing (I don't think so). -Michael
  18. The "heart"-procedure points exactly to my birthplace , 6 nm from PISAS. If you all will come flying in this route, I have to inform my parents first Michael
  19. Sorry for very BAD timing! I had to dig thru very dusty boxes, but now I know were the book is ;-) Michael p.s.: We're all praying for sane pilots!
  20. Hello Guys, maybe I can bring in some more light to this topic? I found this in "Bill Buffer/FMC User's Guide B737". It covers the "Smith FMC" version U0 - U10, used in B737s (300-800). Michael
