About Me

Aviation and computing have been my core focus for the past 25 years. I started out with SubLogic Flight Simulator II on the Commodore 64 when I was 8 or 9  and never quite grew out of it. I'm passionate about aviation safety and training, and have a deep technical background in software development, networking and system architectures. The combination of those two things lead to the development of PilotEdge.

I served as the VP of Pilot Training on the popular VATSIM network and developed the ZLA Pilot Cert program, a pilot training system that has been utilized by more than 800 pilots to date.

I'm an instrument rated pilot and enjoy flying a Lancair 360 out of Lincoln Park, NJ.
