  1. I just bought the 340 and took it up for its first flight. Fantastic simulation in every way! I especially find the interactive checklist helpful. Occasionally I hear this whining noise, as if flaps are transitioning, or similar. But I did nothing to activate such an event, t anything else, I'm just flying along. Looking forward to explore this aircraft in detail today!
  2. I found and updated to the latest version. Still get CTD on 64-bit Windows.
  3. I consistently get a crash to desktop when trying to run 64-bit X-Plane on my Win 7 machine. The log file indicates the Gizmo plugin is responsible. I don't know what version of plugin I'm running. Where can I update to the latest?
  4. But I did use the official installer from your server. No where else.
  5. Unfortunately, I was one of the people where 1.5.2 did not work either. So back to 1.4.5 for me if I want to stay 32-bit, I guess...
  6. Yup, 100% sure. It's gone. And the install dialog asked me if I wanted to uninstall JS32. I thought it was a case of "forgot to update the installer" text and went along with it. no biggie since I can re-install it, just odd. more importantly,. I cannot operate most of the CRJ-220 switches now. To be clear, is this install 64-bit ONLY? If so, is there a 32-bit version as well? Anyway, I loaded it under 32-bit and cannot operate the battery switch to get power and many push buttons. I tried to load 64-bit first, but X-Plane crashed on me. Will try again...10.22 final, by the way...
  7. Title says it all. My Jetstream 32 install was uninstalled during the update of CRJ-200 to 1.5.3. Odd.
  8. I noticed that the 10.22 beta and RC affects the SASL for 64-bit aircraft. I won't even pretend to know what I'm talking about, but will this make a 64-bit CRJ2 possible? I'm still on 1.4.5, which works well, but would like to get an upgrade to 1.5.x. thanks.
  9. Initial impression is nice! Ok, so I stalled and crashed on the very first flight wanting to she "how she stalls" at 4000 ft AGL. After restarting everything, I did a quick 30 NM flight and landed with no issues. Some of the engine sound changes surprised me a bit (I'm used to flying jets with the CRJ2 and others), but that was part of the fun. If I can just remember to unlock the controls BEFORE releasing the brakes on takeoff....live and learn (at least in the sim world!). Thanks for a great airplane!
  10. Is this present in the real aircraft too? Or a simulation bug to be fixed?
  11. Sounds like a challenge! ;-) I'm up for it... I think the systems will keep me plenty busy and challenged, which is a lot of fun.
  12. Loving the CRJ2. I've been on the fence about getting the JS 32. Part of what I love about the CRJ2 is the FMS with full SID/STAR capability. I wonder if I'll miss it on the JS 32....?
  13. I noticed in my RSS feeds an hour so that 10.20 final is out. Does this mean we can expect the 64-bit CRJ2 out soon? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Duh! I was at SLLP, not SEQU. My bad for posting the wrong airport. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Alto_International_Airport 13325 ft...no wonder they call it El Alto!
  15. I should probably mention I was not in flight, but on the ground at Quito, Ecuador (~13400ft). APU started with no issues. I tried both gravity feed and both fuel pumps on, no luck. To try and "trick" the sim, I raised the baro pressure to 33.4 inHg to get a pressure altitude of way below 10k, but that did not do the trick either.
  16. I just discovered I could not start the engines at Quito, Ecuador (13k+ feet altitude). What is the max altitude for engine start in the CRJ2?
  17. Thanks Philipp. I might go back to the original install and compare on next database update. Thanks for the additional insight! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  18. Cessna729's advice of deleting the four files in the CRJAvionics cache folder and letting them rebuild did the trick. I have to do it almost every time I fly, however. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  19. That's correct. No matter if I load CRJ2 directly or come from a different airport or different airport and aircraft, I can't seem to pos init the FMS. Is this a possible Nav database issue? I did update that weeks ago, but cannot say for sure if that's when it started or not. I checked, however, to make sure the airports I try to pos init at are in the Navigraph database, and they all are there.
  20. I'm basically in a situation now that no matter where I load the CRJ2, I cannot initialize my position on the FMS. It will not accept any airport input. Because I can't do that step, I do not get the full avionics and therefore cannot fly properly. Is there any way to reset the FMS for this condition? Is there any workaround for this issue? Right now the FMS is holding up my ability to fly the aircraft. Thanks.
  21. I'm one of the people who had to go back to 1.4.5 for the same reasons. I'm now seeing FMS issues where I cannot always program a destination airport. Philipp said that was fixed in 1.5.x. Has any progress been made on updating 1.5.x to fix these crash issues so we can use the FMS for all airports? Thanks.
  22. Thanks. I will have to wait for that version (or its update) to work for me then.
  23. Thanks. Guess I'll need to wait for an updated 1.5.2 to work for me.
  24. I'm in the process of taking the CRJ2 around the world, currently in Asia. So far I've had no problems at all with the FMS. Today I wanted to fly near my home in the US and proceeded to POS INIT for KAUS. But I keep getting INVALID ENTRY. I tried two other nearby airports, and some more US airports farther away, same problem. The only oddity I see is the FMS POS line above the airport entry. It states S-2147483648°-2147. That looks awfully a lot like an overflow (Windows?) error code to me (I'm running Win 7). Now here's the interesting thing. After trying multiple US and Canadian airports, I went back to the last airport on my around-the-world-flight (VQPR), without restarting the sim, and it took the POS INIT without issues. I'm still running the 1.4.5 (I think) version since the 1.5.1 or whatever is offered gave my problems. Any insight on this? Thanks!
  25. I just bought the CRJ-200 and noticed the FMS data is old. I'd like to update it via the Navigraph service. Is there a how-to process anywhere? thanks
