Soooooooooooon :))
X-Pilot forums here are not the same as the X-Pilot plugin. This forum has been around for 10 years longer.

I hope your implementation of the G 1000 is close to that of the default, such as on the Cirrus Vision. I just downloaded and flew the Carenado Sr-22 and as in the other plane from that developer I will not fly it again or buy another Carenado plane. It is a pathetic implementation. I have 7000 hours both teaching and flying charter as well as building from plans a MustangII. Flew it for 20 years and 1500 hours, 4 times to Oshkosh (Airventure), once to Sun-N-Fun and many fly-ins around the country. It was IFR and night approved and I have 100's of hours in IMC. So I feel I have a good understanding of light aircraft. Also I took a Bi-annual in a SR-22 and loved it.
Please don't screw up the implementation of the wonderful aircraft.
This will be considered more of a study-level simulation and will not have a poor G1000 implementation, unlike the competition you mention. You'll be quite pleased.

Thank Cameron, that's wonderful - getting used to the new layout. I'm thinking more about linking images. That way I can make a button image for, say, the development's Facebook page and have it look a wee bit nicer than a hyperlink in text. People can click on the image and it acts as the link. Is this still possible using HTML coding or will it just show up as the coding itself rather than an image link?
Colin, for that you would do:
<a href="http://www.link_to_website" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="name(like Donate Now)" src="http://URL_Of_Image.jpg"></a>

Just wondering, is there an option to write in BBCode any more? It is useful for making image-buttons in file uploads. Otherwise I love this! Looks great and works wonderfully.
Hi Colin,
BBCode was formally dumped for a number of reasons in favor of HTML. The primary is because it will allow us a lot more integration going forward, and BBCode is now commonly being phased out across the web (whenever people finally decide to move forward on newer software or technologies).
The new way to enter in images is rather easy. To the right of where you would drag files to upload you will see "Insert other media." Click this and simply click "insert image from URL." Rather fast, really! If you'd rather hand code it like you could previously do with BBCode, the format is as follows:
<img class="ipsImage" src="http://URL_TO_IMAGE.jpg">
Hope that helps!

Is there a way to remove the right side columns, as was possible with the previous incarnation of the forum's software?
Otherwise, it certainly looks slick.
No sir, not at this time.

I really miss that "Topics you've participated in" section in the forums, though :-(.
You can simply click on Activity > My Activity Stream > Content I posted in. (Please note the first time you click this it may take a while to load as it builds a cache. After this it should be quick access every time)
Additionally, you may create your own activity stream which conforms to your personal liking.

Careful with some of those planes.
I bought the Seamax, as I was led to believe it was XP10-optimised. Except it's exactly the very same version that I had already puchased four years ago for XP9. Which means I naively bought this XP9 model twice. Yes it works, but that's not the issue. It's an XP9 model that doesn't make the most out of XP10, yet X-Aviation's site clearly lacks information about what you're actually buying.
Well, morale of the story: I lost 12 bucks for nothing. It will be hard for me to trust X-Aviation again.
Why would you buy a product you already own, and why would you expect the product to be any different than it's always been? More importantly, why would you not question if there's anything different and inform yourself as a buyer prior to purchasing? We always give free updates to all of our products, so this makes no sense to me.
If you already own this product write in to us. We'll be happy to refund you the purchase.

Amazing ..... now if I could only start those engines!
Hey, Chris,
Check out the AutoStart feature if you don't want to learn how to do it yourself! You'll see a quick start tutorial in your manuals folder.
Bought it. Looks nice. Can you post a link to a support site for us?
That would be here.

will it have real life FMC like the crj200
Since the real life aircraft does not have one...no.
-
We're not making anything for FS X, so I don't think your comments hold any validity.

Compatible with the Golden Gate scenery airports from scenery4xp ?
Mike
Should be fine.

Hello and Thank You for NoCal Scenery!
- Are there any specifications yet about what areas of Northern California, will actually be covered?
- Are you getting close to knowing a release date range at this time?
Thank you very much - looks great!
All the info you need to know is here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/735-information-on-the-norcal-release/

That's the plan.

A lot of things are not working about this awesome plane... No command to active the other pages on the display, Can't set the climb rate, can't move the heading bug, can't set altitude stay always at 3000ft, etc...
There's no plugin for this aircraft, so if there's something not working for you I'd say it's on your system. I can't duplicate the same issues as you, and we've received no reports of such.

Hi...
Will this work in 9.7?
Thanks,
Jim
X-Plane 10 only!

Something is missing in the back seat by what the readme says. Should be a female passenger that I can`t find.
Hi, Jim,
As the Quick Operating Handbook file states:
"To carry the little girl simply increase the payload weight over 265 lb. from the Aircraft/Weight and Fuel menu."

64-bit is NOT supported, folks, and will not be until after 10.2 is final! Make sure you run the Jetstream in 32-bit!
-
didn't know you'd have it in store, too.
We've carried dmax since 2009.
-
Looking forward to seeing it, Jim!
-
Why come under freeware ???
What do you mean?
-
Probably best to contact McPhat directly on that one!
-
Hi, Max,
64-bit is in the works for Gizmo. Linux still has no finalized announcements. As the MU-2 is moving to Gizmo only, this will phase out Linux unless an update is made to the Gizmo platform that proves it can work. We'll announce any findings as necessary.

They are trying hard to make a name, yes.

I find it interesting that on the main site for TropicalSim, there is no mention that any scenery has been ported over to X-Plane...
Then, taking a look at the Simmarket X-Plane page, I see some products I've certainly never heard of, such as the Aerosoft Challenger 300, and the Aerosoft CRJ-200? Was this approved by Javier and Dennis?
I cannot speak for Dennis, but the CRJ-200 is approved via contracts. I assume the same would be there for the Challenger.
