I wanted the topic to be discussed, thats why I posted, I have been polite about it but Cameron doesn't like the way I expressing myself I guess.

Yes that was me, how many times have I've done that before! Your opinions are yours indeed, do what you wish, I've expressed mine and have satisfactorily satisfied mine. If you have a problem with me, remove me by all means, I'll spend my money elsewhere, no problem.

Cameron, Why are you beating this with me, I PURCHASED the license to remove the Nag Screen, and secondly, it's not about ME, it's about me and every other consumer, I am just voicing my opinion as a consumer, which I have a right to do. I purchased a product and I'm voicing my concerns about my purchase. Also, I own FSUIPC & WideFS for my FS sim stuff, Peters product is an "add-on" you either need or want it or you don't, end of story. Gizmo in this product still is functional yes, but it's in your face letting you know about it, unlike FSUIPC, in the free version of it you don't have a screen asking to you to purchase the full version before you can use it. I fly both sims and I really enjoy them both, X-Plane is growing yes it is which I'm happy to be experiencing. However, as a consumer I felt I needed to address this. As I've said, developers & Ben need to work this out, it should not be something a consumer should be dealing with. Will you PLEASE, close this thread. Please.

First let me say this was NOT intended to be a slap in anyones face. You and the developers need to be paid for your efforts. I was was totally surprised with this when I purchased the aircraft. I honestly thought that it would come with a license like the stuff I've purchased here at XA. Ben, you offer a product for developers and you and the developers need to work something out regarding licensing for use of your product in their product, this should not be an issue as a consumer, as a consumer I want a finished complete product ready to go as it should be without any hidden objects, fees or what have you. Developers have to figure out how they want their product to be delivered with a "supply" product that is incorporated into their product. I applaud you for your work and I applaud the developers that use your product, in the end I personally just want a product free of anything that has to do with the development of the product.

Seeing that I started this crap, why not just have a "Developers Fee" (a set fee) that the developer could incorporate into their final product and costs, like most things business like.

Ok, I just spent the $10 to get rid of the screen. Ben, you didn't even answer my questions. I will NOT purchase ANYONES planes without this included in the future. This is developers code that should not be forced on to the consumer, if I had to do this type of thing with my clients I wouldn't have any. Cameron, PLEASE close this thread.

I also noticed that Gizmo 11.0 will not work with Gizmo 12.0, so if someone designs a plane with a different version, you have to purchase a new license is this correct? Why should someone have to purchase a license for developers code to fly a plane, this is what I don't understand.

I didn't say ANYONE WAS bashing me, I was stating my opinion on this issue. And as far as not purchasing anymore of these products, what I meant and didn't express clearly was. I will not purchase anymore of these TYPE of products under these conditions, I will evaluate what I deem fit for purchase by the means of what is involved in not having to go through this again. I hope this clears things up. I'm not looking to "Rent" a product or to have to pay more for something in case of a unforeseen circumstance. If this means not purchasing an add-on, so be it. I have spent thousands of dollars on flight-simming and will spend more but only after looking more closely at how the product is being offered and it's limitations. Like I said in the original post and subject matter, I am enjoying the scenery.

Look people, first I didn't say I was being ripped-off by anyone. I was comparing what I have purchased from other flight-sim vendors in the past, being 99% of my purchases did not require a re-downloading fee, plain & simple. I do back-up my purchases, just didn't do it as soon as it was d/l this time (lesson learned). Paying any additional cost for something I already purchased has made me take a look at how I purchase something. I will look much more closely from here on in on my purchases. I might just have to go back to the CD/DVD purchases and without any activation of these products. Cameron, thanks for your time and consideration regarding this topic. I understand $%^& happens! It just happened! I have purchased just about every scenery product from Orbx and I only had to re-download one product more than once. I have 99 more downloads at no additional cost. I should've backed the product up right from the get go, MY BAD, yes, paying an additional $5.00 to re-download the product is not to my satisfaction. I will not be purchasing ANYMORE products for download were I don't the option to re-download when need be at no additional cost, no big deal, my $30 will not make or break anyone. I just purchased this scenery which I was enjoying until my hard-drive crashed two days ago. I just got everything reloaded except this scenery and due to time constraints and an unexpected hard-drive failure I was unable to back-up my scenery folders. I was just informed by Cameron that it will cost me another $5.00 to get what I already paid for. I just paid the $5.00 so I can get the scenery AGAIN! This will be my last purchase of these products, I do not ABUSE my purchases, by constantly d/l them over and over again. I am extremely disappointed that I had to pay another $5.00 for this scenery.

Hello, I just purchased & installed the scenery, looks great. However, I started a flight a KRNO and have noticed that there are no terminal buildings at all, is this normal for this scenery? Are there any airports that are modeled with the scenery at all? Thank you for your time. ed

Hey Kaph, I couldn't agree more! I fly mostly Alaska, BC & Washington (low & slow), it's just lacking the imagery like the HD imagery like that of Arizona! Maybe someday we will get lucky.
