Haha. In school, you learn about things that you probably don't care about. With this, there is more of a motivation. The problem is: crap you learn in high school helps you get into the cockpit of the real CRJ. >

I'll probably have to re-read the electrical and APU tuff to fully understand it. I've learned a lot though....

What does the POH contain that the Manuals don't besides more checklists? I'm confused ???

I was able to get about thirty pages read in the morning and I'm about to read some more soon after I get a few things done. Well done, Javier! I love your humor in there. It makes it even more fun to read. It also makes me even more excited about your ACF as well. I have no doubt that it will be the best add on for X-Plane by far. The new standard you're about to set for aircraft will push other developers to work harder and put out better quality aircraft that focus on systems. I keep seeing aircraft with great looks, but generic systems. I can't wait until I get into the skies with her....

I agree, 20-30 bucks would be more reasonable, although Jack did say he might add more systems later. Time will tell how much of that gets done in the end.

This manual will be the first thing I have really wanted to read in a long time..... Besides reviews from X-Plane 10's Blog. I am a little concerned about the delivery. I have a feeling that X-Aviation will be swamped with downloads. I'm sure you did something to compensate though....

Perhaps i interpreted what he wrote wrong and perhaps i expected to much. I just ask that they do take a further look at her. With the flight model how it is, it will take a few good flights to really get a feel for her. I think he will. He said that he wouldn't fault with it at that point. You could probably infer that he will do so in a formal review. Anyway, great product. Nobody is trying to put down your hard work on this ACF.

I don't think Chip was being negative there. He quoted,"...yet I have a feeling this accurately recreates the aerodynamic properties of this aircraft. It has a squirrelly reputation for low speed manners and I’m not going to fault the ACF at this point." Chip was just saying that the characteristics are strange. That doesn't mean they are not realistic. I don't think he was trying to down play or attack your work in any way. He clearly stated he had a feeling the flight was realistic. I interpreted it as an observation, not criticism of your work.

That sucks. I can't imagine what it would be like if I lost my home in that mess...

Normally, I can run with extreme res pretty well. While the Dash ran OK on it, it did drop to 19 FPS. I had to lower the res to really high. I'm getting between 25 and 30 FPS now with that. The SSJ has the same issue, but worse. One more thing, the flight model is a blast. I'm yet to have a landing that I'm satisfied with. ;D That should keep me busy for a while....

I just took her around Oahu. I'm really starting to the love her the more I fly her.

Yeah, it would make a good Easter gift! I think it's down to installers and the webpage. The actual plane and manuals appear to be done.
