Jim, how do you do that? Every time I disconnect autopilot I have the warning beep going on. I do not see anything to press to disable warning. I have looked at the manual ( maybe not hard enough ) but with no luck. What I do, I just slide the warning volume slider down but this is of course not what I would like to do. Thank you. Gentlemen, Well, it is time for AJ to apologize. As I mentioned above, I reinstalled Saab 340 A on fresh XP installation with just minimal plugins I do have to have for flying for VAs. After that I reinstalled SkyMaxx Pro. I did not want to make any post until I was absolutely sure that all was working fine. I flew LES Saab 340 A for several hours now, many flights well over an hour and ALL worked fine. The only thing I was not able to achieve was to play recorded XP video using external view. Other that that ALL works fine. Frame rate was in the worst cases around 18 FPS and for the most part of the flights was around 21 FPS. When the update comes up and developers can squeeze few more FPS, it will great. I do not feel totally bad reporting problems in the past but I assume that they might have been caused by too much "trash" in XP installation that was making things as I reported in the past. At this point I am decent enough to apologize in public to all LES Team. Cameron, Goran, JIm and Ben, I am sorry to report "problems" in the past that had to be caused by my XP setup. I am enjoying now my "new" Saab waiting for the upgrade which will make it even better accordingly to Cameron's corresponding post. I made a short video from the fragments of the flights I made. I agree with SPAS. Look what happened so far, they released version 1.1 in no time improving frame rate dramatically and fixing few bugs along the way. John is always responding as well as Cameron. I would say, give it a bit of time and enjoy what it available so far. Cheers, AJ

The only "problem" I have with SkyMaxx Pro is that I always wonder if I should fly offline and set my weather to whatever I like or to fly on VATSIM. I used to fly on VATSIM all the time 32 bit , then had a long break until 64 bit became available, now I can fly 64 bit on VATSIM but seeing these great clouds is so tempting that I might just go offline for a bit. For me, the two main advantages of having SkyMaxx Pro is lack of that famous "grey screen of death" and presence of cloud dynamics, awesome. Yes, I do experience a bit of a hiccup when the weather loads but as far as I remember it was also present without SMP so it is all good. Cheers, AJ

Hey Cameron, I have a question. After our infamous initial experiences related to SAAB I decided not to wait and install it again to give it a try. There is a reason I want to try even before the update is released. Few weeks I went to a great effort of reinstalling XP from scratch to get rid of the unnecessary add-ons. I have two instances of XP which are identical, one is kind of a backup where everything is working and the other one is a benchmark for trying new things. I know that the new SAAB is coming ( hope for a nice Christmas gift mutually ) but since I have a totally new installation and one download of SAAB left I am going to give it a try and see if I run on the same problems as in the past. If I do, I promise to just keep my mouth shut and wait for the update. Before I try SAAB again, I have a major question. I already have SkyMaxx Pro installed which installed Gizmo automatically. The question is, do I need to do anything special or just install SAAB running installer and register after installation with my mail address? I do not want to mess things up that are working great so far ( SkyMaxx Pro) by doing something wrong. Just for the curiosity, is Gizmo going to be overwritten while SAAB installation? Thank you. I believe that the real weather has nothing to do with that. If I understand it right, SM Pro takes the given weather conditions from whatever XP is set to, VATSIM or internal weather option and processes it it's own way. Cameron and John, is that how it works? As far as VATSIM weather, I do not know details but VATSIM is forcing XP to run real weather, a little strange thing is that while on VATSIM , looking at the XP weather window will show it set uniformly to whole world, not to real weather as would be expected. Despite what I said above, VATSIM forces the XP to use real weather , regardless of what one sets in XP weather window and SM Pro processes it per it's weather engine. Cameron and John, please correct me if I am wrong, I do not want to provide false assumptions. Cheers, AJ

Hi Harry, Do you have exactly the same settings on both computers? I mean scenery, Rendering Options etc. I did not buy 1.0 but 1.1 is working very well for me, even with cranked up SM Pro settings. What you describe sounds very weird. Cheers, AJ

Hi ca177, It depends what you want but I assume that you DO want a real weather so what you described seems to be the right way. Of course, I would experiment with SkyMaxx Pro settings to achieve the best results. One of the ways for a quick verification if SkyMaxx Pro is working would be to move the slider "Puff Rotation Speed" to the right and you will see the movement. Without SkyMaxx Pro you would not see any rotation. Cheers, AJ

Hi Cameron, I finally decided to be brave and .... bought SM Pro. I was a bit nervous. I installed it, started XP. I liked what I saw a lot. BUT, It was still VATSIM and frame rate to be checked..... Logged into VATSIM, all good. Went to different airport still logged at VATSIM, saw traffic ( I was not on runway or taxiway ) I started liking even more what I saw. Frame rate in the busiest airports 30+, excellent! I said, OK, one more test , I flew on VATSIM 1hr + flight for one of the VA I am a member and all went FANTASTIC, no frame rate drop. Delay with each weather update marginal ( I have weather check on VATSIM every 5 minutes). John, Cameron and all people who developed SkyMax Pro, you guys did a fantastic job! It definitely increases the realism of XP a few notches in one shot. This was the plugin I was waiting for since I started with XP version 8. I am speechless. ( no wonder, English is my second language ) Look at these clouds , they are ALIVE!!!!! OK, I need to settle down , I do not want to banned. Cameron, THAT was a joke, you know that, for the sake of old good times, no offense intended at all, just maybe you will smile reading that. I hope nobody will mind if I say it again. John, Cameron and the whole XA Team, you excelled in what you achieved. OK, now the explanations, I made a video, wanted to share my enthusiasm and fun. I made some quick sunrises at KPHL, KORF, KTXU, KJFL, KLAX, KSFO KDEN and final parts in AK. You will also see my SM Pro, Rendering and my systems specs including graphic card. I saw the first release announcement, I have read bunch of threads and decided to wait. I did not have to wait long and I saw the new release and even more replies with very happy customers. Well, Cameron Team, you convinced me. I am buying Maxx Pro this weekend and I already know I will love it.
