OK, if I do not compare it with anything, I still get the 2-3 FPS on a good computer with great GC and turned down settings. I wish I did not have to say that but what I am supposed to do? That is why I am replying here.

The topic is marked solved but apparently not for me. After I fly pattern around LGA, I am getting the slide show, about 2-3 FPS. I understand everything , complex aircraft etc. I have a great Graphic Card and fast computer , I have Resolution set to Very High, no HDR, default number of objects and roads, sparse trees. With other aircraft I get around 50 FPS. I do not know what is going on but it has to be something related to SAAB, unfortunately. If it was FPS around 30, I would not say a word but in this case, I had to reply.

Hi Jim, I was able to read the message on the Console when I was playing video in full window mode, the screenshot is from the video. I have noticed that experience behavior described above when I pull the throttle all the way down ( BETA) , when I stop pulling when I get to the middle of REV range, all stays alive.

Flying the plane now from KLGA to KDCA now, having lots of fun. NAV works great, autopilot is great, all is great except Volume Control See attached video) I have started the plane , all went fine , adjusted volume for all components dragging sliders individually to the level I wanted. Then I wanted to adjust individual components and that is when the problem started. When I clicked on first sound component to drag it, it automatically went to the maximum volume. It repeated with other sound components volume sliders as well. I decreased the headset volume and I am continuing the flight. VOR navigation works perfect. While waiting for Vimeo video to upload, I successfully executed ILS RWY 1 APP at DCA. I am very happy with the plane. If the Volume adjustment is fixed and the ability to slide all sliders together added in the future along with XACARS working , I will be a very happy customer. Great job the whole LDT Team! Igor, Thank you very much. I made a mistake , I copied the .ini file to Saitek Plugins folder. I still do not know if I prefere blank screen and turning knobs or screen on and using keyboard.... hard choice. Thank you very much for explanation. Cheers, AJ

Igor, The bad news is that I want also fly other planes using Saitek panels. If I understand correctly, using the .ini file you made will make panels work only with SF34, correct? My workaround is simple, far from perfect of course because I am not turning any knobs ( except on GoFlight Autopilot module) I decided to use original Saitek panels file and the radio panel let me see COM1 and COM2 radio . Adjustments are made by assigning SAAB commands to keys on the keyboard. It would be nice if all these panels, xacars and other plugins work well together but reality is that they are just not. Cameron, I am able to keep my comments to myself regardless what your reply is and I will try hard to do that from now on. I want to learn, not to argue, honestly. I am replying just to let you know that at xacars website there is no contact information, otherwise I would took your advice and contact them for further investigation.

Gentlemen, First of all.... AWESOME, AWESOME , totally AWESOME aircraft. Please, forgive me my childish excitement but SAAB IS the best one I have ever flown in XP, hands down. I am saying that after making several more flights and getting to know and "feel" the plane. Seriously, honestly, clapping hands for all designers and contributors to this piece of art aircraft!!!!! Finally, I feel like I was flying a real plane minus jolts of my chair. I just had to say that because all the advertisement for SF34 I have read was NOT overdone, this is truly unique, superb airplane we are able to enjoy. Once again, I am sorry for my over enthusiasm but this is how I feel and wanted to share this with all of you. Now, questions: 1. Is it possible to lock the initial position of the TQ Status window? It is big and it pops out just in the forward cockpit view so every time after I start it, I need to drag it to the right so it does not obscure the cockpit and outside view. It is not a complain , just a question. 2. Is there a way start the plane with left and right shaders up? Thank you ONE MORE TIME for that masterpiece. Cheers, AJ

Hi Goran, I absolutely agree with you. I only replied being a bit sarcastic because Cameron closed the thread I started about XACARS problem. I did not modify anything, I reported the problem and the 90% of the discussion was about who said what and who was right ending up with Cameron locking the thread. I am sorry if you took it against what you said about modifications. You do not know me but you can trust me, I agree with you 100%. Things are complex in SAAB, changing one can trigger bunch of other parameters or cause errors. We, users, should just report things ( like my locked XACARS thread ) and wait for your input. This way , little by little all bugs will be killed and SAAB will be the best XP aircraft available so far. I apologize again for replying in a way that might make you feel offended or simply bad. You are a very polite person and I was just very angry, I spent hours to get to the point that I could report my findings, Ben said that he will look into it, then Cameron stepped in and the thread ended up being locked. Hi Igor, You are welcome and please, let us know it that was the case. I remember your fantastic application for CRJ2 and when I saw your post I replied because I thought that maybe flying CRJ2 and heavy iron , you were used to GPS FMS navigation so something like TO/FROM indication might simply go unnoticed. SAAB is definitely made for more VOR/NDB navigation and does a great job. I flew tutorial route and it did exactly what it supposed to do. I am looking forward to new release. Have you guys thought about making some kind of improvement to make pilot's life easier as far as adjusting COM1 radio? I perfectly understand that the location of COM1 radio is correct but when if flight, it is almost impossible to hand fly the plane and adjust the radio which takes the forward view totally away. Yes, I can trim the plane for hands off straight and level flight but especially on visual approach, one needs to make constant adjustments and looking down ( for example to contact tower) is a big distraction. I was wondering if there is any possible way of doing it easier than I did. I assigned SHIFT + Insert, Page Up, Delete and Page down for know movements and SHIFT + X to switch SBY to ACTIVE frequency. This way I can hand fly SAAB , change frequency but I still see what is in front of me.

Same problem here, reset was done as per manual.

There is a difference between "it seems" and " you said" and it seems to work in all languages. Thank you very much for your corrections, guidance and thoughts, now I will see what can be done to investigate the problem. So far all your talking did not bring any solutions just dissecting my words and yours to come up with the response that makes me look I was missing some brains. Whatever you said , regardless of being right or wrong was very unfriendly to me, I said to me, not that you are unfriendly. It seems that you are having problems distinguishing between these two.
