Actually you already have one of the best!! The CRJ goes quite far! And I think Javier and Phillip will improve it as far it is possible. Peters A380 is another payware which goes quite far in the systems and has grat flight dynamics including FBW and the the QPAC A320 (freeware). Did you try the Pilatus PC12 of Shade Tree Micro or Carenado. Cheers Tom

Hi, that would be really great to get planes in XP which are so deep in the systems that it could be used as a trainer for the real one - but it is not like this. Although we have some planes which go quite deep into the systems XP is still a game. Of course there is a FAA certified version but this is only for some GA with special Addons. The flight behavior of some planes might be very realistic but the systems not. And this counts for every XP model. It is just to much for an XP model. I am sure Javier will improve where it is possible but it will stay always "incomplete". And this incomplete counts for every XP model. Cheers Tom

I would say forget this. It is not possible to trim the plane correctly with this formular cause you cannot load it accurately. It does not matter where you place people. Just trim your plane to the Vref and a desired sinkrate (On final). This is what I think. There are other planes in xplane where you change the balance with your payload - not the CRJ 200 - not yet I think. Cheers Tom

Thnx Thiengo, the climb was not the problem cause I adjust the climb always never above 300 never below 260. What you see is the pic trying to raise the speed shortly before stall. As you are a prof. do you have cruise chats for this bird? Regards Tom

Hi Javier, Philipp, I had a new issue - while on cruise at FL360 / 380 the CRJ starts to slow down nearly to stall speed. I try to speed up but it does not work - I have to go to a lower speed level. Watch the pic - N1 and N2 are red cause I try to speed up before stall! Regards Tom

Hi Javier, what do you mean with other problematic software - in my case it is only the xpuipc plugin in the plugin folder - outside of xplane on another computer is the app running which uses the xpuipc plugin. In my case it is only a relationship between crj and xpuipc. - Or do you mean other plugins which does not have anything to do with xpuipc which are present in the plugin folder? for you to know since the plugin generation of peter hagers A380 same trouble there with xpuipc. and yes only solution by now is not to use it. - maybe difficult for home cokpit builders. regards tom

I just like to know if anybody has problems with the CRJ after updating to XP 9.7 which is available via XP update? As this nice plane is acting like a filmdiva it may be important to be carefully with updating the XP system. Please add your operating system. Regards Tom

Hi Pilipp, hi Javier, as the Holding Pattern can actually only be defined as right or left it is not usable for online operation. Here it would be necessary to enter the inbound heading to the holding waypoint. Please put this important feature on your update list. I now that this would be followed by the correct entering of the holding pattern, cause it might be not anymore on the straight line. In Javiers Cortez UFMC this works quite perfectly. Regards Tom

Boys I am quite sure that the crashes occurs cause you cannot adress the saitek panel to the CRJ datarefs or commands. Some default datarefs seem to work in the CRJ like HEAD, SPEED, ALT, VSPEED etc - but using this seems to interfere the logic inside the CRJ. I did several tests when I wrote the custom commands and got a lot of crashes with default commands / datarerfs. Cause this issue I wrote the big list for custom joystick commands or keystroke for the CRJ. Unfortunately the Saitek Panels are using a plugin which relates on the default commands. If you are clever enough to change the plugin that it will use the custom joystick commands I am quite sure that the crashes are gone. Since I am using only the custom commands of the CRJ I did several flights without that problem. I know I critize a lot sometimes a bit hard - but in this case I am sure that the problem is not the CRJ - it is the plugin of the saitek panel. The VRINSIGHT MCP PANEL allows to adress whatever you want - I am using this with my custom commands and it works quite good. Maybe you ask the author of the saitek panel plugin to change the code for the CRJ - this would work I guess. Regards Tom
