I was curious to what noticeable differences 3 has over 2.1. I've watched all the youtube videos and seen various pictures and can't really see anything new or improved. Does it look more realistic than 2.1?

Does anyone know if this will work with the Real Terra Haze 3.0RC1?

Wow, this is amazing! Any ideas on when release will be? X-Plane is definitely my #1 sim now. I haven't touched P3D at all for a very long time. Looks like I can now depart away with FSX and P3D for good.

So then is realscenery oahu's considered a legacy product as it didn't seem to work there by reordering the scenery order.

I know this is possible, this video shown here is using Realscenery's Florida scenery package: It's not done by reordering the scenery around though. Some other method is used. This is what I was trying to accomplish with your scenery packages as I mentioned in another thread. However reordering the scenery package order doesn't make this work like in the videos posted above. Do you think it would be possible in the future to release or update all realscenery photo scenery packages to have this feature right out of the box for the customers?

Mario, I tried to get osm+autogen buildings and roads to overlay on top of realscenery vfr but couldn't as well. But I believe there's a way to do this. There's currently a discussion going on at the x-plane forum on how to do this. That seems to be the only missing link. Flying at high altitudes, these photo/vfr scenery looks spectacular, but the lower you fly, then it doesn't look so good. So if there's a way to get osm+autogen buildings and roads over these photo sceneries then we would have something amazing. Here's a video of what I'm talking about. That's something I wish to accomplish with these photo sceneries. I look forward to purchasing the norcal scenery if this is possible. Simply ordering the sceneries doesn't seem to make it work. There seems to be more involved.

Here's a video to maybe explain this better. This is a video showing vfr scenery with x-plane's ism autogen and roads overlayed on top of the photoscenery. This is what I'm trying to achieve with the realscenery oahu package. Take note that during night time it uses x-plane's default osm+autogen buildings and roads for lighting which looks amazing on top of vfr photo scenery. Now you get the best of both worlds, Flying during the day looks beautiful just like flying at night.

Same here, I would love to see this come true! I would love to take a tour around all the islands and enjoy the beautiful scenery, especially the Big Island. I can picture myself flying over the north side towards Wapio Valley, and then over saddle road to Bradshaw Airfield then heading up to the summit of Mauna Kea where I can look at the beautiful big observatories where they use to star gaze at night and then fly down to south point and revisit the beautiful Kamoan windfarms. There's so much to see and explore on the big island!

Okay I've done that but still am losing my autogen buildings. I even tried placing Oahu scenery at the very bottom. I did a quick test and removed the entire Oahu folder, and then all my autogen buildings, roads, came back. Not sure what the problem is. Why is this still happening even when the Oahu scenery is placed at the very bottom and the osm_northamerica_autogen is well above it? Shouldn't the X-plane read the earthdatanav folder from that instead of the one in Oahu folder since I placed it above?

I see, so would I put the Oahu folder underneath the osm_northamerica_autogen or above it under my scenery.ini file? I want to use the road and autogen data of that instead and only use the orthophoto from realscenery oahu. I have just recently purchased the realscenery oahu package for use with X-Plane 10.20 64bit. The photoscenery looks pretty nice but there are some conflicting issues I am having with some of my custom scenery. For example I am using a 3rd party custom scenery for the PHNL airport, and there seems to be issues with the runway and other airport objects and buildings not lining up, so what you see is the orthophoto image of PHNL underneath the actual airport and it looks very bad. Another issue I'm having is with night lighting and OSM overlays. I am using a 3rd party OSM autogen overlay scenery from http://simheaven.com/?p=1209 for the entire north america. What I noticed right away are most of the roads and autogen buildings gone. So is there a way to use just the ortho photo scenery from realscenery oahu without using its autogen and what not? I would like to use my existing 3rd party airport and osm autogen scenery instead.

I notice there seems to be a lack of scenery for the Asian region. I would like to put in a request for the following areas and hope to see it being developed some day. You guys make some of the best looking scenery for X-Plane! 1) Hong Kong 2) Japan 3) Korea 4) Vietnam 5) Thailand 6) Taiwan

Count me in for this as well! I've been looking for an entire set for the Hawaii Region to fly in, since this is one of my most favorite areas! Especially the Big Island! Lots to see and explore there, would be amazing for VFR bush flying! Please make this come true! I'd purchase this in a heartbeat!

I love flying in this region and would like to know if you guys will be planning on making the rest of the other islands as well? I would love to find a one stop place to get the entire chain of islands. Especially the Big Island with its Mauna Kea observatory and South Point windfarms, that island is extremely beautiful. Can't really find any decent scenery for X-Plane 10.20 now that its finally 64bit compatible. Please I hope this is in the future roadmap for this. I would definitely buy this and I'm sure many others would as well.
