  1. Thats true The spoilers look realistic but the flap fairings look like a plastic toy. Well i spend most of the time in the cockpit, so it doesn't really bother me
  2. Whats wrong with the wing view?
  3. First flight with the amazing Boeing 757-200RR from Flight factor(it took me 1 hour to start the engines, with checklists... )
  4. Found out that the problem only occurs from the side the sun is shining on. That means when the sun comes from the left and you look at the plane from the left you will see the objects shining through. If you look from the right the airplane is perfectly fine...
  5. Yes, already updated Thanks for the info.
  6. Yeah, i searched a bit in the web and you have to be really good with computers to do something like that.
  7. I will try that when i have time
  8. Yeah, HD Intel is not really a good choice, but i had no chance since i have a MacBook Pro with HD Intel 4000. Sadly my computer doesn't have a slot for a graphics chip It's not really that slow though, i get decent frames on normal settings (not to high but ok). I hope they will fix this some time...
  9. No, only HDR on with nothing else.
  10. Alright thanks for your answers I don't want to turn HDR off, because then X Plane looks kind of ugly for me... It's only really annoying because for example with the T7 Worldliner you can see the landing gear through the bottom of the cockpit. And from the outside you also see parts of the gear through. Well i hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks again, SwissCyul
  11. I guess no one else has this problem...??
  12. Had some time right now and i did some testing. My Fps are fine again. Just like the usual Fps between 30-40. Performance is better with Pay Ware airports then with freeware airports... Don't know exactly why, but i get around 60 Fps at Aerosoft Zurich and 20-25 with FreeZ Zurich. Another thing is that i am not using the full capacity of my computer. The memory is not even close of being all used and my CPU has still 70% on idle when i have X plane running. But i can't turn the specs up because then my Fps is dropping... Kind of strange. Do you guys know how to "tell" the computer that i want to use the full capacity?
  13. With mountain lion i didn't have any Fps problems, so i hope with Mavericks it stays the same. Well thanks again for all you answers
  14. Glad it works now
  15. Alright guys, thanks for all your answers!!!! Thats why i love this forum Sadly the weekend is over now, and i have to get back into the "real" world(working...). I will try out the tips you gave me next weekend and report again my results. This will hopefully not take that many hours since i want to really fly and not only test out settings I hope my frames will get better after all that, because i want to enjoy my recently bought 757+Sky Maxx Pro!!! Thanks again and i will report my results next Friday/Saturday/Sunday, SwissCyul
  16. Well, i tested X Plane now and the result is not really that great... Before i always had FPS at around 35 and on a cloudy day with pay ware planes around 20-25. Now i am getting at no clouds and pay ware plane around 15-19 FPS... With clouds 10-15. So not really an improvement. I am using 7.99Gb of my 8GB memory and the frames are worse then before. I got to figure out how to get better frame rate with X Plane now.
  17. I updated anyway... Mavericks is awesome!!! Got 1024mb Graphics memory now, going to try out X Plane and i will report my results in FPS
  18. Ok, so the 64bit version. So that can't be the problem. Did you turn on your Yaw Dampers?
  19. Ah, thanks for the info
  20. Alright thanks for that!!! I have 8Gb of ram, so it hopefully helps my performance…
  21. Ok, so no slowness or anything?
  22. This post goes out to all Apple users who have updated to OSX Mavericks!! I currently have Mountain Lion 10.8 and i am considering of updating to Mavericks. I read that it increases on HD4000 intel computers the graphics memory from 512mb to 1024mb. Is this true? Did anyone experience this? If yes it should be an increase in X Plane's performance, or? Is it really worth it, because there are very different reviews of Mavericks on the web. Some say it's awesome and some say it slows down you computer extremely… Greetings, SwissCyul
  23. Ok, thanks Your log.txt is full of errors with language change from english to spanish. Also you have a lot of scenery errors, you should maybe check your custom scenery folder and update old airport files. The problem might be that you are starting with the plane running. You should try a cold and dark start to check if the buttons work then. You are using X Plane 64bit, correct? So what version is the CRJ? You might still have the 32bit version so it will not work Could you maybe write a "timeline" on how you set up the plane with the autopilot? Greetings, SwissCyul
  24. More details please… What configuration, flying or on the ground? And post your log.txt please
