yup, american sorta copied Cuban airlines if you look at their paint livery, its just a small change but looks like it in some way. and united-COA, continental basically got to keep their livery and all they had to do was change the name. but the blue tulip for UAL was interesting, i guess UAL wanted a new look

So I flew into Miami today on a 738, just as a note to not offend anyone. Service on American sucks, your suppose to board passengers from back to front not the other way. You should board passengers with only 1 bag regardless of the group they are in, it just makes it harder for others to board. But anyways. I flew into Miami and I was expecting to see a bunch of AA in there new livery, turns out this is the only plane at the airport with the new livery. I guess the others are at FT. Worth. Well anyways hope I like the image

mmmmm, there could be something wrong with x-plane itself not reading the file. but at this point i dont know what else to say. i mean you could just try restarting x-plane and see if it helps but other than that, i got nothing.

HMMMMM, did you place the correct .xpl for your platform in resources>plugins? like windows.xpl, mac.xpl, linux.xpl

theres one on the .org, its called "simple pushback" theres no car but it does the pushback sequence. just use your rudder to navigate where to go.

Ive been dying for a 787, and i really dont want to buy the aircraft from x-plane. Since they made the 767 i was in love with how detailed a real the aircraft is, and i would be super excited when the 787 has it. waiting patiently for it =D

Hello Fellow pilots! Ive been browsing around and im sure all of you know that American airlines is going to buy US Airways. Since American got itself a new livery, do you think that if US Air becomes a part of One World with American, that American airlines will gain the use of A330s in there paint scheme or US Air gaining the 777 in theirs? what do you all think?

Hey there, i dont know if this will help but give it a try. i use a mac as well, the autopilot in the A330 by XPP is a bit funky. you have to engage 2 systems for autopilot for it to actually work. When you takeoff first engage the autopilot, this only shows little pink crossbars on your artificial horizon gauge. you then should engage the CMD, thats the main autopilot controll and will level the aircraft automatically, and do all basic function like heading, airspeed, etc. i hope this helps. =D

grettings everyone, i have downloaded the new version of the x737 version 10.20 for x-plane 10, and the frequency changer button (sorry i dont know the term for it) will not change the frequency. this stops me from flying the aircraft on VATSIM since all controllers dont talk on 122.8 UNICOM. anyone know why this is happening?

hey there, this is just for a related replay it may or may not help, when i used x-plane 9.70 which was the latest and well the last version of x-plane 9 before 10, i had a similar issue like you did except i flew international flights like france to america. whenever i got close to the airport the sim crashed. i have talked to laminar about the issue and they said there is not much they could do about it because the software is outdated. i fly x-plane 10 now which is way better. but sometimes x-plane 9.70 crashes because either you have too many rendering options set or your running out of ram or processing speed on your computer. try lowering your rendering options, most of the unnecessary things like shadows and water reflection, oh and especially airport details and the detail of the overall sim. sometimes lowering these options makes the sim much faster and youll have a lesser chance of crashing. you can try it, it may or may not work but it doesnt hurt to see. i hope this helps, sorry if i wasnt to specific in the explanation ='(

try looking in the Read_me file on the aircraft if u havent already, shows how to turn the plane on engines and everything

Hey people, Does anyone know where i can find a B777 that is "FREE", x-plane 10 doesnt recognize files on x-planefreewear.net, and i dont want to pay money for the 777 worldliner and XPJ 777 is unreadable in x-plane 10. does anyone know a place where i can get freewear 777? Basically i had to virtually delete my entire boeing fleet because xp10 will not recognize the file.

Im Mac user, and i use x-plane 10, and its just cause i think Macs are the best, sorry windows ive had enough of virus screens and freezes. for me when i download a file, the computer makes a zip file, which it basically unzips the file that you downloaded so that you can reach the folder for what your looking for.

Telemole, i usually use VATSIM, i like it, the controllers can vary from really nice to just pissed off for some reason. most of the time controllers in the U.S. are never on so you can fly online with no ATC but still fly with other pilots to airports. If you get VATSIM, i dont know about the others that were recommended, but if you do get VATSIM get XSquwakbox as, well they help you get online. its an easy process takes just a few mins. Hope you and your friend find a way to fly together. happy flying =D

Hey there new guy!!!!!! I just wanted to say "welcome to the x-plane experience!!!!" =D, I'm not one to use FSX and not knowing anything about it cause of my computer platform, but i can tell you that x-plane is the most realistic thing when it comes to in flying. especial x-plane 10, the graphics and extreme detail it makes is pheneomenal. Some great sceneries you may want to look into as many great suggestions have come from others here, look into photo real sceneries, some are paywear and others free wear, but they are very accurate. you can also get a whole boat load of scenery of france at www.xpfr.org , since someone mentions switzerland i though i would mention france as well. Also if you like heavy aircraft i would recommend the 767 from this site and the A330,340 series from the xpp, they have realistic textures in them and the parts of the plane look real. x-plane.org also has good aircraft and you x-planefreewear.net has great planes too, though none of the 757s on it work in x-plane 10 for some reason. well i hope you have fun in your new experience using x-plane and enjoy it to the fullest. happy flying =D

hey everyone, im sort of experiencing an issue here, i dont know if its the plane or x-plane itself but im going to ask anyway. For some time whenever i want to do an international flight with the 767, the front door on the plane is open and there is a stairbridge car right next to the plane. when i pushback, taxi, or takeoff the door on the plane will not close and neither will the car. so picture floating stair car right next to the plane taking off. if anyone knows a command or some way to get rid of this infernal thing, ide be eternally grateful. >< below is an image of what im talking about, if anyone didnt understand the description.
