Kieran Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Try the tutorial section over at X-Plane.org.Blender.org for blender. Quote

Jedipie Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 We have decided that were gonna make a Piper Tomahawk. I have the specs but cant find anywhere the 3 view layers like in the first tutorial. If someone has a link please post it.Thanks,Michael & Matt Quote
WombatBoy Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 You need to do the layering of the 3-view yourself, you won't find one made up like that for you almost anywhere. If you need a 3-view now and/or in the future, I recommend www.the-blueprints.com which is where I found this one: http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/modernplanes/modern-op/18593/view/piper_pa_38_tomahawk/ Quote
Jedipie Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 What is the best way to get all the dimensions of the nose and so forth? Quote
WombatBoy Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Try here... http://www.pipertomahawk.com/Specs.htm Google is your friend here. It'll take hours upon hours of searching for dimensions and pictures and anything else you might need. We can't help you with everything... Quote
Jedipie Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 Thanks so much. I can't figure out how to overlap the 3 views without them covering up one another. I'm using gimp. How do you make the backgrounds transparent....Thanks,Michael Quote
Jedipie Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 Actually I'm installing Photoshop now and my mom is like the voodoo maker of Photoshop and she'll help me out with it. Thanks though for the support. It is very much appreciated! Thanks,Michael Quote
