lomasca Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Hi All, I'm new to Xplane, having been an FS2004 user for years. My PC has finally packed up and i'm loathed to replace it, and i'd appreciate your wisdom! I have a 13 inch Retina Macbook Pro, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM (Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB), running Yosemite. 1. How will X-plane perform on this system, and which version should I get? 2. Are there any limitations - is it worth trying or will it be slow? 3. Is it easy to plug in an external monitor and dual/split screen? Thanks in advance Chris Quote
Cameron Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 It would run, but your biggest hurdle is going to be the Intel Iris card. You can hookup an external monitor through a mini displayport or HDMI cable. Quote
