Hi All,

I'm new to Xplane, having been an FS2004 user for years. My PC has finally packed up and i'm loathed to replace it, and i'd appreciate your wisdom! I have a 13 inch Retina Macbook Pro2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM (Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB), running Yosemite.

1. How will X-plane perform on this system, and which version should I get?

2. Are there any limitations - is it worth trying or will it be slow?

3. Is it easy to plug in an external monitor and dual/split screen?

Thanks in advance :)

Chris

It would run, but your biggest hurdle is going to be the Intel Iris card.

You can hookup an external monitor through a mini displayport or HDMI cable.

Cheers for that Cameron,

I hold my hands up to knowing very little about specs, how does that hurdle manifest itself?
