When I simulate an engine fire and want to use the right fire extinguisher to put it out the gizmo console appears and everything in the aircraft stops functioning. Is this a known bug or is it just me? Also while the left fire extinguisher doesn't freeze the planes systems it doesn't seems to be able to put out the fire. Is this intensional?

I will do that in the future, but that still doesn't explain why the left fire extinguisher is unable to put out the fire. Does fire extinguisher always fail in xplane?

Did you even read the thread that I linked to? It clearly states that this was a bug, it has been fixed, and will be in the next update. So, no, the fire extinguisher DOES NOT always fail in X-Plane. 1
