Eddie Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 (edited) I wouldn't say the systems work "beautifully" on the A330. JAR has always been more for eye-candy (similar to Rotate) The 767 isn't really a "modern airliner", much more of a hybrid of old and new (when compared to something like the A320 or 777) Edited January 1, 2016 by Eddie Quote
Ryan M. Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 For me, I'd have to say the best aircraft award for 2015 goes to the FlightFactor + SteptoSky 767 for a number of reasons. -The aircraft is not of usual FlightFactor standards. When I first got the plane, I was having trouble that this was done with FlightFactor support because this is such a departure from traditional FlightFactor ways. The 777 and A350 are respectfully good aircraft, however they did have their issues. Just about every single one of these issues has been addressed in this plane. I guess the "Joint venture" with SteptoSky solved these issues.-Best FMC in the market. This FMC is, at the time, the best one there is. It simply is the best in the simulator, far beyond JARdesign's FMC's.-The aircraft is beautiful, and accurate. The 767 is no easy plane to model, but these two developers did it like it was nothing. The wingflex is far more accurate than the 777, and the interior cockpit is a step up from the 757. Everything just comes together in this aircraft for a near perfect x-plane experience. Thank you to FlightFactor, SteptoSky, Phillipp Munzel, and everyone else who worked on this project. You've undoubtedly made the best aircraft of 2015. Quote
kneighbour Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 My best is the SAAB 340. Their latest update made it one of the best looking and best operating planes around.Definitely NOT the MD80, which was a big disappointment. Perhaps when the update comes out it will be a contender. Quote
kpregira Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 The MD-80 was NOT complete and NOT worth the money. It has too many bugs. Hopefully the next update will fix these bugs. The modeling is top notch though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
kpregira Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 My choice would have to be the FF 767 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
StevenM Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) I bought some models this year, some were good but on hindsight i didn't have the time to delve into them (FF757, JAR330). Some seemed great but where, in my opinion, a bit meh (EMB110 and the RWDesigns DHC6). Last summer i bought the Beaver from Soulmade. It is nice and well crafted but my personal plane of the year is the Aerobask Epic1000.I got it with the bonus points of the orgstore, not expecting much of it but it really was a pleasant surprise.
