WR269 Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 Greetings everyone, New user to the wonderful DC-3. My question is rather basic. The manual states the fuel capacity is 822 Gallons. But in the X-Plane default payload and fuel loader the most I can put is 540 odd gallons. Is there another way of loading fuel and payload on the DC-3 apart from the X-Plane Aircraft menu? Thanks
Goran_M Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) Weight of Aviation fuel is 6.01 lbs per gallon.Total fuel able to load in the DC-3: 4948lbs Dividing 4948 by 6.01 gives me 823.29 gallons max fuel load. Someone wasn't paying attention in maths class. If you think there is something amiss, please post a screenshot of your fuel and payload screen and we can confirm. Edited October 26, 2015 by Goran_M

My question is, is there another way of loading fuel?
