Donair Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Hello all. Newbe to Xplane here. Used FSX for years for fun only but did lean a little. Been reading all the forums about installing the sim and i'm really confused. Maybe some one could answer a few questions about the subjict. I installed the Demo for XP 10 a few weeks ago and really enjoyed exploring. Now after recieving the DVD's version I would like to know if I should use the "installer" on the DVD even after using the "installer" on the Demo? Also one forum advised not use the one on the DVD, use the download "installer for Windows" on XPlane.com, witch one do I use? I really would like to get this right the first time if possable. Thanks Quote

You can use the updater on X-Plane.com to bring things up to speed once you've got the DVDs installed. Quote
Donair Posted September 16, 2015 Author Report Posted September 16, 2015 Thanks Cameron for the advise. One last question,do I need to remove the Demo before running the DVD's? Quote
Cameron Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Thanks Cameron for the advise. One last question,do I need to remove the Demo before running the DVD's? I would advise it, yes. It's not necessary, but certainly redundant! Quote
