View Forwards With Nothing

I purchased the Plane and read all the documents, I cannot find how to set the Views. I am interested in the 'View Forwards with nothing' so that I can better see the runway. Normally this is accomplished using the [CTR-w]

AFAIK, you have to set this as a custom view.

 

Did you try using the period-key to go forward, just until the nose falls out of view, and then use the CTRL-numberpadkey to create a custom view?

 

That's what I did and it works fine, just not very "X-Planey"

Have you tried X-Camera? It is the best thing since sliced bread.
