Landing light reflection

Can anyone tell me why I have no light reflection on the strip at night . I have put in the freeware replacement HD strip textures but dont think this would be the cause.

I have lights selected on , and the outside shows they are working albeit quite dim but the strip is not lit up in any way . Externally it shows some light coming out , but when viewed from the cockpit it shows complete darkness and well when landing I may aswell not have them on.  Got to be something simple surely.

Make sure you have HDR turned on!

agh ok will give this a go . yes hdr is turned off .
