max1805 Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 Hey folks, I'm TOTALLY new to X-Plane having some over from FSX and I'm really struggling to get my head round some basic functions. Ultimately I want to know if they are even available in X-Plane 10 for a start! Basically, I like to have a little window open when in 2D cockpit mode which shows me a little shot of the exterior of the plane or wing view. This is easily achievable in FSX, but I can't figure out how to do it in X-Plane? Can any one help? Just to clarify, this is not a dual monitor set up. Secondly, is there any way to get rid of this horrible spot plane view where the camera moves away from the plane when turning? I like the camera to be locked onto the plane (like is FSX) so that I don't have to keep adjusting the view (especially for landing). I hope that makes sense and any help would be greatly appreciated Quote
Cameron Posted June 25, 2015 Report Posted June 25, 2015 1. The window you are looking for doesn't exist. 2. Use circle view instead. Quote
max1805 Posted June 25, 2015 Author Report Posted June 25, 2015 Ouch, that's not good. Why doesn't something as simple as a second view exist? Are there plugins available? Quote
