glenpuyallup Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 When cruising I try to reduce rpms with the blue handle, but it keeps moving in and out with moving the throttle. Then the rpms go over 2600rpm and flash the warning off and on. Is there a way to lock the rpms? Really love the airplane--excellent job! Thanks, Glen Quote
Lukasz Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 AFAIK, 2602 or so RPM won't hurt the engine during takeoff and for the rest of the flight do not exceed 2500 RPM anyway. Try adding throttle with slower move, so the prop governor has the time to catch up. If you're well over the redline, try setting lower MP or pull prop lever a little.EDIT: You may also want to check this thread: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=830.0 Quote
