This link no longer works. If you knew what it was, then don't bother reading on, simply drown in your own tears ad accept that the rapture has arrived.

For those of you not familiar with the phenomenal work of Jon Gabbert, he created a CYVR Vancouver International Airport freeware scenery for FS9 and FSX that I will admit is unparalleled by freeware or payware developers in any simulator. Sadly, he has vanished, taking the download page for the CYVR and any remnants of his unfinished and equally detailed KBLI with him. He is a commercial pilot, and I have no idea what has happened to him.

Anyways, its a sad day for me, but Merry Christmas to all.

Sad, he has a real talent for scenery design. It appears that he has gotten busy with life and his career. To my understanding he is now a First Officer at Sky Regional flying the Q400 for Air Canada Express. He is the copilot in this really neat video
