mtaxp Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Sometimes I like to watch real clouds to compare it with SMP2 , and SMP2 simulates clouds just awesome. But IMO a new fair weather cloud variation would be awesome , a flat and long cloud , somthing like that : I hope that you'll implement such thing in the next updates Quote
JohnMAXX Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) Actually these clouds are shaped by the wind, try a few cumulus layer at I dunno 2,ooo ft in the weather dialog and apply some wind to that alltitude you will see them morph into a similar formation..... SMP clouds are very dynamic Edited August 22, 2014 by JohnMAXX 2 Quote
frontendrob Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 I think the real beauty of SM only shows in windy conditions (something that's non-existant in X-Plane's weather presets). Make a cloud layer (cumulus scattered) between 6 and 8 thousand feet. Then a wind layer, 150kts at 7 thousand feet and you will see what I mean. Quote
