How to use the Gust Lock

Can someone help me with using the Gust Lock. I know you have to select the small locking switch in order to move the Gust Lock into position. But I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. I move my mouse cursor over to the switch to move it out of the way. But the minute I go to pull the Gust Lock to ground position the locking switch moves back into place and I can't move the Gust Lock. Is there a sequence to doing this? Thanks in advance for you help.

You need to assign a keystroke or button to the release switch command.  That way you can "hold" the switch while using the gust lock.
