P3R Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 Hi John, please make WaterMaxx. I really miss this: I wish the xplane devs found a way to extract data for ocean depths and implement it in xplane so we could have shallow and tropical waters displayed gradually as it gets deeper. 2
jettojig Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 This would sure be interesting! Also we'd probably have to crown John the king of land, sea and sky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
marty2756 Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 An instant-buy for me. The only reason i quit from flying carrbbean places when I switched x-plane is lack of water quality/variety.Today water in x-plane is totally outdated compared to terrain graphics

PilotNuts Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Nope http://xp-aviators.com/index.php?topic=424.0 See here, X-Plane do have dataref about water depth, don't know if it helps
JohnMAXX Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 If only it were that simple, thanks for the link though
Tom Knudsen Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) I believe water datarefs co-exist with the sky color, so not that easy no Edited March 31, 2014 by Tom Knudsen
