John McCloy Posted August 24 Report Posted August 24 1)-The heading indicator is off by over 10º If there is no option to push the heading button on the middle console to align it (per one suggestion), So how do I? 2)- adjusting the heading bug and VOR/ILS headings It's a pain in the ass since the knobs are on the middle console, so I can't see the heading indicator while adjusting. (adjust/look up, repeat 20 times) Yes, it's true to the jet, but is there a way to adjust while seeing the changes?!? 3)- does the jet crank really hard to the right on take off roll for anyone else? fingertrouble Posted yesterday at 11:09 AM Report Posted yesterday at 11:09 AM Hey John, I´m just learning the C525 for myself, but here are my two cents on it ... 1) what heading indicator? the one on the EHSI, the main instrument? As long as you have the LH Gyro Slave to AUTO, your heading should read correct. Same goes with the copilots HSI the switch below should normally stay in SLAVE. Or do you mean the magnetic compass, the backup above the panel? Are you maybe flying in crosswinds? 2) the is a hidden clickspot on the left side of this AP panel, to open a 2D panel. I keep it open at all times. You can also find it in the XP menu - Citation 525 - Popups - autopilot main panel. 3) no, mine does not. due to a lack of a indepth manual, I recommend to have a look onto some youtube videos, search for "C525 Tutorials" or "Captain Grantham".
