Last night, I completed a Vatsim flight, shut down X-P. Loaded DiscreetFPS, then restarted X-P10.25.

Started on the ramp and immediately a white box popped up.

Alert!

Wrong IP Address 127.0.0.1

No NIC with this address found!

Shut down and removed DiscreetFPS, and retried, no go, same alert.

I then fired up my second copy of X-P, set up for XIVAO, same message! weird!!

Fired up my third copy of X-P, set up with no online apps, same again!!!! even weirder!!!!

Can find no dump file to tell me what is going on.

I have no idea what has caused this, and closing the box has no working effect on the sim.

As to why the problem went across all 3 copies baffles me.

This is an OS level "issue".

Did you:

- Use Hamachi or other VPN service recently?

- Plug or unplug any network cables?

- Connect to any different WiFI network equipment?

...etc.

I would expect this to affect any and all copies of X-Plane that you have installed. Networking is an OS-level service.

It may resolve itself with a simple reboot..... any advice beyond this is merely guessing as you haven't given us any details about the machine you're using.

(OS Version, etc.)

All that I had done, is map the network drive for X-P to my second machine, then removed the mapping. To see if that would cure it.

I have shutdown my machines several times to no avail.

Flight machine is Intel i5 3570K /16gb ram/ Nvidia 660TI/ win 8 64 Pro.
