thomascats Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) Hello.I am getting a very annoying crash when I want to exit X-plane or change aircraft.X-plane.exe has stopped working. What I did is updating the navdata to 1401 with the VASFMC.exe to temporary folder and then replacing the files..I did a backup and changes the files back, now working. but I still don't want to fly with old database.. Added the log.txt. Thanks, Thomas. Edited January 18, 2014 by thomascats Quote
Cameron Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 Issue with X-Plane and changes that cannot be worked around for the CRJ. This is covered in other topics already. Quote
thomascats Posted January 18, 2014 Author Report Posted January 18, 2014 So no way to fix it in the future? Anyway thanks for helping! Quote
Cameron Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 So no way to fix it in the future? For the foreseeable moment, this is correct. Quote
vonmarty Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the reply."Issue with X-Plane and changes that cannot be worked around for the CRJ. This is covered in other topics already." I had searched but found nothing. I am new member so I need to read a lot. So, the CRJ CTD on exiting XP10 It is a rather bad problem to fix? Was this issue covered in other topics (other than the one link you provided) prior in this forum? Edited December 16, 2014 by vonmarty Quote
Cameron Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Yes, it's been covered here before. There's no planned fix for this unfortunately. On the plus side, it only happens when you're done using the aircraft. Philipp has a better explanation of it somewhere here. Quote
vonmarty Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 "Philipp has a better explanation of it somewhere here."I am new here ..Is Philip a developer? Ok, I will look around some more. Note:The worry is, whenever there is a crash (hard drive or ro software) ... could opwn files/folders including Windows (or MAC) become damaged because they were not properly shut down? Quote
