IGrant Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 I've looked around and I can't find this documented anywhere. Also, I am new to X-Plane and this aircraft so apologies if I have missed something obvious. When using the DC-3 my keyboard no longer works. My controls all work (yoke, pedals, throttles etc..) but the keyboard does nothing at all. If I load a different aircraft first, the keyboard will work. Then switching to the DC-3 it stops working. If I switch to a different aircraft after the DC-3, it works again. Trouble shooting the problem last night I loaded the DC-3 up and had no keyboard function but when I switched to the Saab function was restored. It doesn't render the aircraft unflyable by any means but it sure is annoying! Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! Ian
IGrant Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 I think it's got something to do with the version of gizmo that got installed with the DC-3. Getting lots of issues since installing the DC-3.
Ben Russell Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/5978-gizmo-1311050205-download/ Download and unzip. Move X-Plane/resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin somewhere safe like the Desktop Move the new Gizmo64.plugin from the zip download into X-Plane/resources/plugins/
IGrant Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Funny, I just got home from work intending to do just that and I find your reply! Good to know I had the right idea. Thanks for the reply and for your plugin work!
JoHubb Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) I had several problems with the previous Gizmo in XP10, W7 x64, including loss of keyboard and specific issues with the LES DC-3. I've been running this new Gizmo for a while now without anything untoward. Thanks to Ben, or whoever! John Edited January 18, 2014 by JoHubb
