FMS Flight Plan Entry

Hi all,

 

So it's been a while since I last flew the CRJ-200, so I decided to follow the tutorial included with the CRJ-200 to refresh my memory. That is where I struck my problem. When I get to program the flight plan into the FMS I am unable to access the second page to insert the waypoints. The screenshot attached shows me having inserted the Destination and Flight Number, as per the tutorial, but in the top right hand corner of the FMS note it says page 1/1, instead of 1/2 as shown in the tutorial. The tutorial, and manual, say that the second page is created automatically, but it appears in my case it hasn't. I have tried clicking the next-page button, but to no avail.

Just wondering if someone here could shed some light on what I am doing wrong, I believe I am following the tutorial to the letter, but apparently not (though I have tried several times). I also tried re-installing the CRJ-200 just in case, but again, to no avail.

Click the LEGS key.

I think you also need to fill in the first page before the second page appears.  

You put your first waypoint on the first page.. fill in the VIA and TO lines. (This confused me too.. I know the manual says another page should appear)
