hi all

i started the 340 the first time today, used the checklist, and all went fine.

but after i took of, i rolled to the right, and had to countersteer hard.

so i started from the beginning and after engine start complete i went to external view and i saw something strange, ...the ailerons on both wings were not in neutral position.

left aileron was pointing downward, right aileron pointing upwards, aprox. half way.

i tried to trim them on the pedestral panel with the trim handles, but no effect.

any idea on this?

Hi

i calibrated the joystick, and with all other aircraft it works fine. except with the saab 340....it always starts to turn to the right after take/off.

another fact, the ailerons are centered, when i put throttle to idle and plane comes to a stop, but then, when i increase thorttle to taxi, i see ailerons moving....right goes up, left goes down.

i guess, i forgot sonething to set?

thanks for help.

okay i think i got it.

somehow (i didnt set them at all) the yaw and ailerons were set on sliders in my joystick mapping. again, i didnt set them at all, since i only installed the aircraft and then i just powered it up.

so no joystick adjustment was taken.

but maybe....i installed a helicopter (BK-117) and made some joystick button adjustment. maybe there the sliders jumped into the mapping (cant imagine how) but since then i had the problem.

i set the trimms of aileron and yaw to NONE on the joystick mapping and it seems to work now.

sorry for the inconvinience.
