caravancol Posted December 24, 2013 Report Posted December 24, 2013 HI,I just purchased the Cessna Corvalis TT (1.51)As you can see from the attached picture the Autopilot is missing, and the ALT and FMS buttons don't work.As I am a newbee I might be missing something obvious.I use X-plane 64bit on windows 7.ThanksCaravancol corvalis2.bmp Quote
JGregory Posted December 24, 2013 Report Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) That is a picture of the stock C400 that comes with X-Plane, not the payware version. The payware version should be installed in the X-Aviation folder. Edited December 24, 2013 by JGregory Quote
caravancol Posted December 25, 2013 Author Report Posted December 25, 2013 Doh, said I was a newbee. Many thanks, although still not right, plane looks nothing like the Cessna. CaravancolCessna Corvalis TT.bmp Quote
JGregory Posted December 25, 2013 Report Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Many thanks, although still not right, plane looks nothing like the Cessna. You're kidding right? Did you notice that you're picture contains two different aircraft, with the Corvalis "inside"the other! Not sure how you accomplished that, It may be that the AI traffic is screwed up … or… there is something wrong with your installation. I can assure you the Corvalis is exactly like the Cessna. caravancol Posted December 25, 2013 Author Report Posted December 25, 2013 Thanks Mr Gregory, Looks like you are right because in the air it is the Cessna, thanks again. Caravancol Quote
Tsetsoh Posted December 25, 2013 Report Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Hi caravancol, X-Plane has a feature that will place other artificial intelligence (AI) aircraft in the scene with you. As a newbie this can be very confusing for you, because when you open an aircraft sometimes X-Plane will "spawn" another aircraft on top of your own. This has been reported to X-Plane developers but I've seen no discussion about correcting that problem. The AI aircraft will function on its own and will eventually move away from you. Or you can re-position your own aircraft. However, if you don't want to put up with this nuisance you can turn off the other aircraft in your setup. In the X-Plane Menu go to Aircraft/Aircraft & Situations/Other Aircraft. Then set "number of aircraft" to one. This will stop another aircraft from popping up on top of you. The only time you need to set this to a higher number is if you want to see other aircraft moving around. Also if you are going to fly on line (such as VATSIM) you will need to set the number higher so that you can see other people flying around. Hope this clears it up for you.
