amo63 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Help Please,I apologise if this has appeared before. I love painting the Saab 340 but I am having problems getting it off the ground to take pics of my liveries. Have gone through the quick setup, pull back on my joystick - get to about 500 feet then the master caution light comes on and I Plunge into the scenery. ( This is the only aircraft I can't fly properly in X-plane). Would really like to take screenshots from all over the world but can only take them on the ground. Any help welcome.Allan Quote
Cameron Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 This really sounds like a lack of reading the manual. Be sure you don't move those power levers above 76%. Quote
Hobelflieger Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) Hello Allan, try to play with the condition levers. That's very important. Have a look into the manual. And ... the Saab 340 A haven't powerful engines. Full packed or full tanked, on airports at higher levels you get really problems to take off. The B got better and more powerful machines, but we have the A - . And ... your paints are really good. Best greetings Dirk Edited November 8, 2013 by Hobelflieger 1 Quote
Leen de Jager Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) Ahhhh......Yes it takes a while to get it off the ground. For making screenshots in the air you don`t need to take-off.After starting the engines just slew the aircraft to the desired flight-level and position. ( its a functionality in the MAP )Leen de Jager Edited November 26, 2013 by Leen de Jager Quote
amo63 Posted November 9, 2013 Author Report Posted November 9, 2013 Have tried that Leen, but then it goes to cold engines and cant restart props as they r still turning 2 fast. Manage to get the Crossair over the alps though. Quote
