Hyd L&R low pressure warnings

When doing the hyd test as part of the cockpit prep, I noticed the HYD L&R low pressure caution message appear as soon as the pumps are switched from on to auto after the test, shouldn't these messages appear only when the pressure drops into the yellow range?

These messages are not triggerred by the pressure reading in the respective system. They are triggerred when both pumps supplying the respective system are switched off (a pressure switch in the pump outlet detects that the pump is no longer supplying pressure - it's a binary switch, not an analog pressure measurement).
