Patrick89 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Hi folks! At first: I have read all available posts to this topic but nothing has provided a solution for me :-( I bought the IXEG 733 today (XP 12, Win 10 Pro), installed it via the installer, ran XP12, entered my credentials but the flight controls are not working nor are the displays showing anything and moreover my sounds got muted. I already... ...did a clean 737-300 install ...restarted my PC ...changed my X-Aviation account PW ...gave XP12 admin rights ...gave write rights to the whole XP12 folder ...nothing works :-( Is it normal that there is no file in my resources/plugins/X-aviation/win64 folder? I attached my log and some more information. Thank you in advance for your help :-) Log.txt Quote
Patrick89 Posted January 11 Author Report Posted January 11 (edited) Addition: I restarted XP 12 and deactivated every single plugin apart from Gizmo and X-A Validation, did not work as well. Edited January 11 by Patrick89 Quote
Patrick89 Posted January 11 Author Report Posted January 11 Okay, case closed :-) Somehow there was an X-Aviation folder in my plugin folder. I did a 2nd XP12 install, installed the 733 and noticed, there should be no x-aviation folder within the plugins folder. I deleted it and it worked :-) Day saved! Regards Patrick Quote
Litjan Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Hi Patrick, just reading this - I am happy that you got it solved - and thanks for reporting back with the solution! Happy flying! 1 Quote
Patrick89 Posted January 14 Author Report Posted January 14 Thank you, @Litjan! Even though I got that solved, I still suffer a problem many others have already had, according to google research: My sounds are partly broken: Some functions sound weird, for example stall warning test or take-off config warning or give me no sound at all, for example the gear handle. My XP sounds are reduced by the IXEG 737. I already tried changing the IXEG sounds when bumping to the left of the screen, I deactivated all plugins apart from X-Aviation and Gizmo, re-installed, checked, whether my system and X Plane sounds match and so on... ...what else can I do? Best regards! Patrick Quote
Litjan Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 Unfortunately I don´t have a cure for this ready - the sounds are done with the OpenAL and on some systems they don´t seem to work right :-/ Quote
