Rudder Trim Cessna Corvalis (JGX)

Hi All,

 

I've been researching rudder trim a little.  Is the following correct:

 

1)  The rudder trim in the Cessna Covalis is a manual adjustment physically made on the exterior of the aircraft?  (meaning you do not adjust the trim from the cockpit)

 

2)  Furthermore, if this is correct, in order to simulate the Corvalis I should never adjust the rudder trim in flight? Is that correct?

 

3)  I was unable to find a rudder trim indication in the cockpit.  The POH references "Rudder Hold Switch"...  where is this switch located in the aircraft?  I could not find it on any diagrams.

 

Very newbie here, learning a lot and having fun.  Thanks in advance.

1.  Correct.

 

2.  Well, you could, but for realism you shouldn't

 

3.  There is NO rudder trim indicator in the cockpit.  The rudder hold was NOT installed in all the Corvalis aircraft and is not modeled in the JGX version.

Correct, the "real world" aircraft has no rudder trim but does have elevator and aileron trim, which are all modeled accurately.

And it is not possible for a plane designer to deactivate the rudder trim in x-plane to model the real aircraft?

btw is a rudder trim that useful?
