Hallo Leute des Forums!

Some days ago I have bought the BAe Jetstream32 by JRollon.

There is one thing  I do have a problem: I can not change the frequenzies on the radios. by the cursor there displayed twwo rounded peaks, but either with the left nor wiht right klick, there is a change. The engines are running, batteries on and so on!

What is the failure,- the missing?

Thanks a lot for an answer!

When you get the 'two rounded peaks' keep holding the mouse button down and drag left to decrease or drag right to increase the numbers. Cheers!

Hello kris,-thank you for answering. Now it works! :)

I have never seen such a way of changing frequenzies on radios. This is my first aircraft by J Rollon,- maybe this is common way by him.

There come up now a new problem: How to handle the autopilot.?  I know the special way about the deactivating the normal way of x-plane-steering. But in what way I have to use the autopilot in connection with steering by hand? I have connect my yoke with a button to that point of "Control _wheel_Steer" in X-planes menu -autopilot-area. But there is no reaction when pushing the button on my yoke. The rudder on the aircraft does not move at all, when I  move my flight-yoke.

Do you know an answer?

Actually drag to change is in a few X-Plane aircraft ... FlyJSim aircraft for example also use the drag to increase/decrease. It is IMO a much easier way to change numbers rather than laboriously clicking through digits in a moving cockpit ... exacerbated by TrackIR head movement!

Rollon planes are superb! If you're into in-depth believable simulation then he is a top notch designer .... I love the Jetstream 32, it grows on you as you become more familiar with it's complexities and become more experienced with this aircraft. You do have to read the manual though to get the most out of this airplane ... there are no shortcuts I'm afraid.

Re your question, you have to unlock the controls. To do this ... read the manual! It's very readable and not intimidating at all. :D Cheers!

P.S> I'd also recommend that you watch Javier's YouTube video of startup procedures.

There's another set of videos by James Gillies that are also very helpful ... (just do a search on youtube for "X-Plane Bae Jetstream 32 Interactive Checklists - Aircraft Acceptance to Takeoff").

Also remember to read the addendums because things changed in versions and new functions were added that don't reflect the 1.0 manual.

Hello, to all who were answering!

Yes, I have read the documentation,- but it is for me sometimes not so easy, because it is in english and sometimes I do not understand the full sense!

By looking the video I have seen, that you have to pull a lever to unlock the controls,- somewhere near the co-pilot seat. I`ll try.

Overall, - it need to be a long time, to get familiar with this aircraft as I see.- What I am missing is a tutorial for a whole flight... (Schade!)

Nevertheless, Thanks a Lot,- :)

Best Regards,

Siegfried
