Gizmo Installation of OpenAl & pThreads suggestion.

Hi,

After installing Gizmo ( I bought the Falco ) I was wondering if the installation could be simplified.

Instead of letting the user install OpenAl & pThreads separately isn't it better to just add the OpenAl.dll & pthreadsGC2.dll to the directory of the windows plugin?

I know from experience that it works with the openal.dll, however I'm not sure about the pthreadsGC2.dll since I never used that one in my projects.

Just my 2c.

That works with some versions of windows but not all, indeed, I started out that way, but then when using Win7 and 64 bit flavours of Windows, things didn't work.

The old tried and true rules of where DLL's can live have changed in subtle ways and I have worked hard to provide the easiest solution for everyone.

Additionally, there are step by step instructions and single file links on my Wiki for those that don't like installers.

I'm sorry that there's an initial bump to getting Gizmo installed but that's what happens with something that introduces so much more to the sim.

We've only barely scratched the surface with what we can do with it, I hope to show you a lot more in the coming weeks. :)
