rjsagel Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 Hello, I installed the most recent version of the Jetstream 32 that I purchased yesterday.I have the most current version of XPLANE 10I can use either 32 bit or 64 bit versions - I prefer the 64 bitI use Win 7 - 64 bitI have a very large GOFLIGHT setupMy joystick is a Saitek X52 The problem is the use of my control setups. When I call up the setup for my controls, and select a control to add - say the PROP control. thelist of the control selections "flies by" - meaning it is always in motion and is not selectable. When I return to a different aircraft, the controls are fine but the setup does not carry to the J32Iam probably missing something here but I read the manual and cannort find the solution. I cannnot seem to get it to work for the JETSTREAM 32. It works for ALL of my other aircraft - many are yours. Thanks in advance, Ron Sagel Quote
Cameron Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 Hello, Ron, First off, thanks for your purchase. In the future, please take the time to run a search in the forum for the issue you are experiencing. There are already a number of topics on this. Bottom line: It is very important to read the manual for this aircraft. In particular, please consult pages 6 and 48. Lastly: The prop assignment has been disabled on purpose by the plug-in. Quote
rjsagel Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Posted February 14, 2013 Thank you for the quick response - I will reread the manual per your help Cheers, Ron Sagel Quote
rjsagel Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Posted February 14, 2013 Hello again, All is fine now - controls for other Aircraft are saved since I exit the J32 with the controls unlocked. One more question please - can I assign the prop levers that I use (set up for other aircraft ) to the J32 prop levers? Once again - cheers, Ron Sagel Quote
Cameron Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 One more question please - can I assign the prop levers that I use (set up for other aircraft ) to the J32 prop levers? As was mentioned in my previous post, no, and this is intended for pragmatical reasons. Quote
rjsagel Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Posted February 14, 2013 Thank you again, Cheers, Ron Sagel Quote
hamue Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 this is intended for pragmatical reasons.I don't understand the meening of this statement. A prop lever has a VERY PRACMATICAL REASON...Does the JS32 has no prop levers?!? Or what does it mean? 1 Quote
arb65912 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 (edited) It means that Javier wants you to manually move the lever with the mouse instead of assigning it to an axis on quadrant. It has been a long discussion on that , try to search previous posts. Edited June 8, 2013 by arb65912 1 Quote
cessna729 Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 Something like this: Note: I deactivated Prop Sync, TTL and SRL computers first. Quote
