Request for guidance/opinions - UK VFR Scenery

Hi there,

I'm looking at a number of Aerosoft add-ons at the moment, but I wonder if anyone could offer an opinion on the following:

VFR Photo Scenery Bundle 1-4

http://en.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=article_detail&s_supplier_aid=12407&s_design=DEFAULT&shopfilter_category=Flight%20Simulation&s_language=english

I live in Jersey so it'd be good to look at some enhanced scenery for the UK, but I have some questions first in terms of guidance please.

1.) Will this scenery be ok with XP10s autogen technology, in that will it "conflict" in terms of what buildings and roads are displayed versus the photo scenery that this will use?

2.) Will the autogen (roads/buildings) etc still use the OpenStreet map "underneath" or will this scenery "override" those settings?

3.) Given that I fly a lot of regional IFR (FL180-240) will I be "wasting" my time with this scenery pack as it's "designed" to be used at a lower level VFR?

4.) Generally speaking, are there any specific "Rendering" settings I should adhere to to get the most/functional use out of the scenery? (I'd like to know up front if I need to use "extreme res" and uncompressed textures etc - which is a bit beyond the limit of my 560Ti at the moment.

5.) Finally, (I wonder if anybody actually owns this scenery or the South West pack at least!) would anyone know if the coverage includes the Channel Islands?) As you can probably imagine, Jersey is not more than a Leelu-style "dot" on the world map, so in terms of XP10 autogen there isn't much there, ahem. I know it can be accused of being a bit of a "backward" island, but we have more than three roads and 8 houses!! :)

Thanks very much for any advice or experience of this product that you might have.

Kind regards,

James
