sichars1968 Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 I have uploaded a couple of scenery files both here and at the org(EGKB & EGSC), and I am on a windows PC, will the files work on a Mac platform?I have been asked the question by a Mac user over at the Org and wondered if anybody was able to help me give an answer, and what I should do to make it work for users on other platforms?Any assistance is greatly appreciated.RegardsSimon Quote
Cameron Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Hey, Simon,Yes, the files are cross-platform (zip files), so there's no need for you to do anything else! Quote
sichars1968 Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Hi CameronMany thanks for confirming this for me.The person asking me is using 10.05r1 so could this be the reason he cannot load my scenery file for EGSC?First off he is getting an 'Error loading EGSC - This scenery may not look right'Then he gets a 'Could not locate facade/forest/beach' 'lib/airport/Common_Elements/Hangars/Blue_Hangar.fac'Would updating to the latest beta be the solution, I am not sure when the new art assets were updated? Many thanks and regardsSimon Edited September 3, 2012 by sichars1968 Quote
chris k Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 >'lib/airport/Common_Elements/Hangars/Blue_Hangar.facThats a 10.10 Library Object. It doesnt exist in 10.05 - which is why your user is getting an error.- Ck. Quote
