I don't doubt this has been posted already (feel free to delete it).

It happened with the demo, now it's happening with the PC North America region.

Windows XP SP3

Quad core Intel CPU

4 GB of system memory

512 MB video card

What location do you have X-Plane installed to?

The X-Plane 10 folder is on my Desktop, with its original name, just like the demo was.

That X-Plane shouldn't install to Program Files is weird, but I don't care. I have been doing Windows so long and so much that these days I never bother changing installation paths, or renaming the installation folder. I used to dwell that sort of stuff, messing with Windows. Now I am too busy doing things with it.
