Bob the frustrated pilot Posted Tuesday at 10:15 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:15 PM Hello all, I am having many problems with the Hot Start 650 sim and I am hoping to find some help here. The first problem to deal with is that I do not seem to be able to truly start a new flight. So when I select a new flight and I get to the aircraft it is in a random state. For example, the nose gear is up on the ground or when selecting an airborne option I am pitched 90* nose down at 200ft and crash or the main battery is at 7volts and dies within seconds leaving blank screens. The problem is that when I then try to start a new flight 9 times out of 10 I am back to the same flight. So I am currently stuck with flat batteries and black screens and can't do anything about it. This happens whether I change the flight details or not, whether I select 'Restore Position and Trajectory' or not. There are no failures selected or armed and nothing changes when I select 'clear failures'. Can anyone offer any advise on how to resolve this issue? Bob Quote
Cameron Posted Tuesday at 11:08 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 11:08 PM The CL650 is a simulation that is persistent. How you last left the switches is how your next sim session is going to start. Your battery being dead means there's been enough time since your last session where you didn't turn your battery off for the battery to now be dead. You can use the Airframe Manager to start a new Airframe, or you can start the CL650 in the non persistent mode by selecting the option to see more when presented the dialog after aircraft selection. aerys Posted Wednesday at 03:03 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:03 PM (edited) How is this time from last session calculated. For instance, what happens with fuel if I leave the plane turned on for a couple of real days. Is this related to sim date? Edited Wednesday at 03:03 PM by aerys Quote

Thank you Cameron. That's my first problem solved. Quote
