310RPilot Posted November 7, 2024 Report Posted November 7, 2024 My laptop sat for 9 months now X-Plane crashes. I did have to update NVIDIA drivers but don't know if that's the problem based on the log file. I tried moving the plugin folder to the desktop & restart X-Plane but same log file. Its been great for 3 years! Log.txt Quote
Cameron Posted November 7, 2024 Report Posted November 7, 2024 There's not a lot to go by in the log other than it seems to be crashing loading shaders. Updating the drivers may be causing this. Can you roll back to a lesser version than the one you installed? Quote
310RPilot Posted November 8, 2024 Author Report Posted November 8, 2024 (edited) Cameron, I went to revert the graphics drivers and look around the NVIDIA control panel settings for anything that might make sense. I noted that Armoury Crate was new on my ROG laptop and my NVIDIA control panel & GeForce software didn't work anymore. Worrisome at best and will check my GPU memory setup. Here's the latest crash report telling me something about the memory. Maybe there's a resource allocation setting I need to set?? Thanks! I should never let my SIM PC on the internet crash_report_11_07_2024_00_32_43.rpt Edited November 8, 2024 by 310RPilot Quote
